Summary

This build is for Orianna so she does Magic Damage. Her combos put out quite a bit of damage to single/multiple targets.

I have chosen Rod of Ages because it helps give you the mana you need and some hp.
I recommend you get Sorcerer's shoes. (For obvious reasons)
Getting Rabadon's Deathcap is great for AP and the Unique Passive: Increased ability power by 30%.

The last 3 items I will let you decide on.
By the time you have these 3 items, You will have a fair amount of HP and MP.

Masteries

Resistance Increases your champion's resistance 3/3: This is good just for some magic resistance in the very start in the game. It really is just going towards getting Strength of Spirit.
Put the other point into Hardiness, you will then have enough points for Strength of Spirit.

Put 3/3 points into Strength of Spirit, your health will be going up by 1% of your max mana. (This could come in handy for mid to late game)
