Hey and welcome to my first try on guiding a champ.

I will present you two ways how i play Orianna, so my Items above are for both builds.
You can play Orianna as an ap carry with tons of AP or, as i prefer with more survivability.

If you want much damage take the ap style build (you will do much dmg, not as much as a Le Blanc e.g.). If u want to support your team (you will although do much dmg) take the other one.

ok Guys.

Buy Items in the order at top till u own Rod of Ages.
(if u earned some experience with Orianna just buy Mejai first, leave the RoA out and continue with Rabadon's, Archangel, Void Staff)
After this, if u get the feeling u will not often be dead buy Mejai.
Otherwise just leave the Item out and buy Rabadon.
It will give you TONS of AP.
After that buy Void Staff, Archangel (for nice penetration and mana) and Lichbane to be a bit faster and to make ur autoattacks MORE effective.

Well, u have much ap.. much dmg with q, w and r and a BIG shield with e!
Use ur e skill on allys who stand in big enemie groups, to cast ur ulti and w. all enemies around ur shielded ally will eat much dmg! if u dont have an initiater cast ur q into the enemies and press w > r > w to initiate as an ap carry. after that run a bit back and fight enemies from behind.

Please dont forget to save allies.

U save them this way:
cast e on ur ally => he gets a shield and resistens
press w => he will get a speed buff, enemie will be slowed
press r when necessary ( enemie flashed through ur slow e.g.)

Buy the Items at top in the order i have given u till (including) rabadon's.
yea actually u "just" buy the Rylais before u continue with buying items.
Buy depending on the situation:
void staff (tanky enemie team)
archangel (more ap xd)
lichbane (ap heavy enemies, fast enemies)
mejai (if u get nice stats)
hourglass (i dont like it, but some cant play without :S)
banshee (if u feel too squishee, if an enemie has initiating spells (mals ulti e.g.))


the way u play is same as ap style so pls read there..
u can even play more aggressive cause u will not die .. or its hard to kill u.
ur rylais is very funny.. everyone who crosses through ur ball will be slowed :D awesome :D
ah actually ur slow will slow him more!

With ur q u can very nice scout bushes.. its like a mobile ward actually.

i prefer double lanes, cause u have nice spells to support.
if u harrass both laners (which is actually very easy) ur mate will get many kills, or even u .. :D


of course u can play mid with her. buuut often u got enemies who can easily knock out ur playing style.. i personally hate karthus mid when i play orianna.

important is one thing:

play aggressive. ur ball is senseless in ur rows. just throw him behind enemies minions and harrass enemies.u can go behind the enemies minions, throw ur ball to enemies laners.

they will get less xp. really Orianna is very lane dominating.
