Made this account to say I really like this build. I regretted buying Orianna up to around a week ago and was getting to the point of just giving up on her, but I see now she's easily one of the most fun AP carry/supports in the game and this build is what made me realize her potential.

Ignore the people who minus you down simply for getting E first, they're morons with no rational thought (It's impossible to get first blood with her, her AA does roughly the same damage as her Q at level 1, if you are up against someone who you can potentially kill at level 1 E would be more useful since Orianna is so incredibly frail, and if you are soloing it literally takes less than minute to hit level 2), I even like using my E on a jungler after I leash for him just as a little extra damage and help.

I use Mana Regen yellows, MPen reds, enough Mpen blues to get close to 30 MPen with sorc boots and then the rest MR, then MS Quints.

Thanks man!
Finally someone who actually understands my guide! I've realised over the past few months that my guide doesnt go with the norm and thus the "Majority" of people wont understand it and would rather follow the other guides that stick with the recommended items and skills...But hey, thats what the Summoner Spotlight is for -_-

Anyways Ghello appreciate ur comment :D

wow alot of downvotes :( Have you guys even tested it out?
@theredone: Philosopher stone is made so u can farm easier by giving you more survivability to stay in lane whilst getting 5gold/10 + its the first item u get, when ur low level your spells are infact not very strong, so its better so have survivability and last hit.

@urownmother: Whats wrong with my spell choice? its the same spell build as all the other orianna builds except u get shield at lvl 1. Why? because orianna starts with 11 armour and 30 magic resist. + lvl 1 ball does 60 dmg, lvl 1 shield will give 80 shield +10 armour and magic resist.

@Yoshihito: I dont think you've thought through your answer Command: Attack does 60dmg lvl 1 which is equal to an auto attack, so incorrect most of your dmg does not come from Command: Attack at lvl 1. If you can see my skill build i still maxed Command: Attack first because it will be your main source of damage mid/late game just not lvl 1 -_-.
As for my rune build, we do not live in an ideal world where we can focus on more offense rune pages and expect the other team will focus on the tank letting you shield him for more...because odds are u will be focused for choosing that, its always better to be prepared.

As for the rest of you, glad you enjoyed my guide!

Great build. philosophers stone is by far the best item to start with on oriana. I dont really feel the dorans ring is necesary and prefer a second philosophers for more gold/5 otherwise good guide. Ur on to a great playstyle!! XD Keep it up!

Some of your item choices I don't think are the best. Health regen for one, you have like the longest range on her so getting hit often isn't really a problem. I also don't like that you go with Command: Protect first, that seems like a dumb choice imho. Getting Command: Attack first would be the best choice because it's where most of your damage comes from and if you're trying for first blood or just killing early on you're not really doing enough damage to help out with that. You may be able to survive a bit longer but you should really just stand aside and let your teammate do the work for you. Then you have your glyph choices, MR and Dodge? She isn't a tank, she's a support who can help beef up the tanks with Command: Protect so leave that for them. You're better off going with more offense glyphs to pump out a little extra damage.

You have a good point there. I dont usually get to this point in the game, or I just keep my dorans ring and max out on potions.
I'll change my guide, some good last items can be Nashor's tooth, Lichbane, Morellos Evil Tome, or even a Death Fire's Grasp all seem viable.

Thanks Jnutz8652 for your comment!
