Yes, he is very mana hungry, I find if you conserve your MP at the first few levels and just poke with Q, your mp5 runes will keep you in it. Also, in team fights, he only needs to fight that team fight, usually most will recall or be dead and you auto attack for a push.. That's the reasoning behind it.

Never play Pantheon in Ranked, but overall its seem a goood build, i miss some details but i hope it will come with time.I use almost same items,-(core overall is the same) But what i always take for Pantheon is Clarity its some kinda need on him i feel like playing anivia if i dont take it.But you Got you own playstyle i and other have other :}
