This is my Pantheon guide strictly for League of Legends: Dominion. While I have had great success with this setup it may not work for everybody. Hopefully this guide will help you become a better Pantheon player within Dominion.
Dominion opened up a whole new game for Pantheon players, what he lacks in Summoner's Rift he makes up for immensely in Dominion. The sheer utility that his ultimate provides for tower defense or even ninja capping is far too great to overlook.
Pantheon is an early game champ in Summoner's Rift which is what makes him so powerful in Dominion. Great Burst and average survivability. I believe Pantheon to be a top tier pick within Dominion and with the right player behind the champion is a great asset to your team.
There are many different Rune setups in which you can use. I feel that these provide for the best early game possible.
I prefer health quintessence over armor penetration for that bit of extra health early on. The armor and magic resistance seals and glyphs also provide that extra tankiness for early game dominance.
21-6-3 Mastery Setup.
Pretty standard masteries for the most part.
21 Offense for all the extra damage goodies.
6 Defense for that little bit of extra tankiness once again.
3 Utility just for reduced time dead.
Every Dominion game I play I start with Boots of Speed and a Prospector's Blade. Health, damage, and lifesteal. Just an overall great starting item for Pantheon.
Boots of Swiftness. Great for chasing, running away, and just getting around the map faster.
Phage and Brutalizer. To be honest its a toss up of which of these item to pick up first. Both great and both build into something later on. I prefer the Phage for the health and the chance on slow effect.
Entropy and Youmuu's Ghostblade. Entropy a new item introduced in Dominion is your core attack damage item. Health, 70 AD, chance to slow, and on-use guaranteed slow + some extra damage. Youmuu's Ghostblade has just a bit of everything you could want on Pantheon + an awesome on-use.
Atmog's. Atma's impaler will provide you with a handful of extra attack damage, crit, and armor to deal with the heavily inflated melee teams of Dominion. Warmogs. While you don't have the time to farm the extra health up it still provides the most health. Games usually dont last long enough to actually build Warmogs.
Pantheon does great burst damage.
Basic burst combo for Pantheon:
Q - W - E - Q.
You may not always Q before you stun but if you should since it has such a short cooldown.
Heartseeker Strike is the bulk of your burst as Pantheon so always max out your E first.
Pretty self explanatory for Dominion.
Exhaust for the mass amount of melee in Dominion
Ghost for chasing and getting around map faster whether it be defending nodes or capping them.
