Thank you for the reply! I really appreciate what you said so that I can make my guide better. First of all, about the jungle item options. I do sometimes take Ranger's Trailblazer on bruiser pantheon, because it gives health back when you smite a monster. I do swap it out for the Stalker's Blade later on though. I do very rarely do this, but I suppose it is personal preference. I like ganking a lot to get a lot of kills, rather than farming in the jungle.

Second, I do sometimes rush Black cleaver on Pantheon after the changes. I still prefer youmuu's for the assassination potential as a first item, but that is just my opinion. I do really never take BORK on Pantheon, just showing an option to readers. The only time I really would take it is if they had a Dr. Mundo top, Zac jungle and a Leona supp. Like 2-3 supertanks. I will put BT on the cheatsheet, and consider taking off IE ( I didn't know Q crit is capped at 150% Tank you for pointing it out :D). I agree with what you said about visage, but I only take it if I have a strong healer on my team and prefer taking Maw of Malmortius if I'm ahead, but something like a randuins if not.

I still prefer taking W first, but I suppose I may still be amazed at the lvl 2 drake you could do in patch 4.20 :). I do finish the camp quicker with Q, but I leave full Hp with W which is why I prefer taking it. I still listed taking Q first as an option, but I do prefer taking W.

After thinking it over I agree with what you said about the masteries, but I think that I would put 4 points in sorcery and remove spell weaving, as you will be spamming Spear Shot more than AAs.

In the pros and cons I should have written good durability, as I meant the tankiness he has built into his passive. Sorry for the mistake.

I completely messed up on the runes, I agree. I should be taking MR runes and will swap these out right away.

I prefer to gank with 2 points in my Q, but will gank earlier and skip wolves if my team needs it. Again, this is all personal preference, and just what i like. For the krugs-red-blue route, I only take this route if I am adamant about what lane I want to gank first or if I want to trick the enemy jungler if he tries to steal. After taking this route a couple of times I have been oom every time, and this is exactly the reason why I prefer this route.

I think I did include the point about jumping over walls, but i might be wrong (will check right away). I think I might try and squeeze in a combos section, but right now I am a bit short on time (coming back from holidays tommorow). I will however try and fix this if I have time.

Hello, there! I am currently playing A LOT of Pantheon and there are a couple of things I'd like to point out, since I believe this guide has a lot of potential. I am not going to talk about your bruiser build, since I don't play Pantheon as such (AD Assassin Masterrace), only about the assassin one.

First of all, I think you should consider to put Ranger's Trailblazer as an option in your cheatsheet. Pantheon's clear times are not very good and this item will definitely help him out early-mid game. You do sacrifice a bit of ganking power, but IMO it won't make such a big difference, since you have a strong nuke ( Spear Shot) and a point-and-click stun AND gap closer. In conjuction with your teammates (who probably also have crowd Control), it should be easy to take people out without Stalker's Blade.

I don't think Youmuu's Ghostblade should be immediately rushed (I don't even think it is a core item on him, but this guide is about your opinion). I'd prefer rushing Black Cleaver over this 100% of the time, since Pantheon will benefit more from it (20% CDR, some health, some AD and the passive that has great synergy with his kit). What you can do, however, is rush an early The Brutalizer and then build a Black Cleaver, for some extra CDR, AD and supreme armour penetration. So yeah, IMO Black Cleaver > Youmuu's Ghostblade as a core item.

Okay, now for your damage options. I do not like Blade of the Ruined King on Pantheon for one simple reason: he's an AD Caster, meaning he relies on his skills for damage, and neither Spear Shot nor Heartseeker Strike apply on-hit effects and you won't use basic attacks that often, so I don't think it is worth purchasing such an expensive item if it's not going to be used to it's fullest. Next, Infinity Edge is a serious mistake on Pantheon and I'll tell you why. It does, in fact, increase your Critical Strike damage from 200% to 250%, but your Spear Shots are CAPPED at 150%. This means that IE won't increase your damage past that point. Also, as I mentioned earlier, you won't auto-attack that often, since you rely on your skills for damage, so if you're planning on using basic attacks to trigger Certain Death, you're doing it wrong, since most of the time you'll have your Spear Shot up and ready to pierce their chest :P Consider using a Bloodthirster instead, it works really well on Pantheon, gives him lifesteal and a great shield!

I am not sure if Spirit Visage increases life steal, so I'm not going to say anything about it, for now, but you generally don't want that item (unless you have strong healers on your team, like Soraka), since Hexdrinker is a far better option on Pantheon and provides mixed stats for a cheap price.

Not going to mention Sterak's Gage since I haven't tried it yet on him...

About your skill sequence, 99% of the time you will be leashed by your bot/top lane, so I'd advise you to start with Spear Shot 1st (you do mention it further below, which is nice, but it'd help if you mentioned it in the cheatsheet too), since you won't take that much damage anyway and you'll clear the camp faster.

Your masteries... I don't like your offensive tree. Sorry. Frenzy is a waste on Pantheon, you are an AD Caster and rely on your skills for damage (sorry for repeating myself) so more attack speed won't do you any good. Besides, 15% health is not that much and 90% of the time your Spear Shot will execute your target on site before you're able to use this mastery. Also, I do not know why you chose not to put points into Spell Weaving and Blade Weaving , they are very good on Pantheon and synergise well together giving you a strong 1 vs 1 potential (not forgetting that your Heartseeker Strike also deals AoE damage and benefits from this). I know I said you won't use basic attacks often, but you are almost always able to squeeze in 1 between abilities, so this greatly benefits you. Take a look at this:

Pros and Cons, nothing to say besides the first point which is "Good Clears". Good Clears = Fast Clears and Pantheon isn't known for his fantastic clear times. He is known for his fantastic gank ability, which you mentioned further down.

About your runes... I am not so sure about taking NINE Greater Glyph of Scaling Cooldown Reduction: your example build has Black Cleaver's 20%, Youmuu's Ghostblade's 10% and Enchantment: Warrior's 10% which equals 40%! You're already capped out! You're wasting Rune Slots! I'd advise you to either take 3 of these, or take none at all, since you'll be wasting them if your build has those 3 items (and Black Cleaver is almost always necessary). So yeah, taking 3 of those and then 6 Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist is a better option. You can also include Alternative Runes (like Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed).

I think you should make a Combo Section for Pantheon's abilities.

I am not sure if I like your jungle route (don't take me wrong here, it is a valid one) on Pantheon. I usually start where my bot lane is, so that means either Krug or gromp, depending on my spawn. Everyone has their playstyle and I like to gank as soon as possible, which means getting my buffs fast and go gank someone. You don't mention ganks in your jungle route (exept after you clear evrything, which is not optimal). What I currently do with Pantheon is:

krug > Red Brambleback > Blue Sentinel > Gank. If the gank was successeful I go do wolf/ raptor and the go back to base. If the gank failed and I was left on low hp I go back immediately. Sometimes, I gank at level 2, because I have access to my gap closer and people aren't expecting it. Obviously, this isn't always possible, but if enemy mid lane is playing aggressive and is overextending, I will try to gank the guy at level 2. More often than not, it will result in them burning Flash AT THE VERY LEAST.

If I start on Purple Side, I do gromp > blue sentinel > red brambleback > Gank.

The main issue with your path is that after you finish Blue, you go to your wolves, leaving your Red Buff open to the enemy jungler. He definitely has more than enough time to steal it and you will end up with one buff short. You don't need to do Wolves to gank. Gromp, Blue and Red are all you need to make a level 3 gank work out, you're Pantheon, you're manly as hell and you gank ASAP, taking people by surprise. I like that you mentioned to stick to walls, what you can also mention is that you can Aegis of Zeonia across a wall! If the enemy is hugging one (mid lane, for instance) and you have vision on the other side, you can stun them across that wall. You can also use this to escape, though you will take Monster agro.

I think that was all I had to say, you definitely have potential and everyone would benefit if you expanded your guide a bit ;)
