Although websites, such as lolcounters, states that caitlyn is the biggest counter i'd like to oppose that statement. Although Caitlyn is a big lane bully for Vayne, her late game compared to Vayne's will not be a problem. Vayne can duel one on one, as long as she is full build and plays it correctly. (R , Q, E, AA, should be enough to finish her off late game.) So a tip is to farm safely, under tower if necessary, and hope that game stalls out to late game, and Caitlyn is not fed.
Lucian
Lucian is not a big threat towards Vayne. Lucian may have an early game advantage on Vayne, but if played correctly, Vayne can possibly win early game, due to Lucian's short auto range (500) Vayne's auto range is (550) along with that there is outplay potential for her to tumble over his piercing light. Overall, the game can be in Vayne's control as long as the player is able to make lucian his botch.
Ashe
Ashe can easily punish vayne through her cc chain. Vayne will be taking a beating throughout early to mid game, possibly late if Ashe gets far ahead. However the counter towards ashe= qss. Without her ult she will not be able to get her autos off. Ultimately, qss is key to success against Ashe.
Corki
Just another champ that you should be playing safely against. Corki will be able to punish extremely hard if you give him even a tiny gold lead. Slowly stall for late game.
Draven
Heavy counter to vayne, if he gets a lead early game he will be able to punish Vayne late game if he does not get cc'd by vayne's condemn. Carefully farm things out and pray that mid to late game is under your control or he will be able to two or three hit you.
Ezreal
Easy match up, side step his mystic shot and try to trade until you are positive you can all in early game and take him down. You will win early, mid and late if played correctly.
Graves
Another mediocre matchup that should be in Vayne's favor for early and late game. Barely play against a graves ad, but if I do, just trade around ally minions, they will block his autos. Lol. His late game is strong but so is yours.
Jhin
In my opinion laning against this champ is cancer. The recent buffs to his laning phase a while back made him super dominant. If he is given a lead he will punish, but he is also immobile, take advantage of that along with his reload.
Jinx
Also believe this lane will be dependent on who plays late game better. Jinx is immobile but tons of late game damage. As long as you play early game safely, you will be the more dominant ADC. Just don't melee form into her team.
Kalista
Kalista is a strong early game dominant champ and also a strong mid game champ, but due to her low damage and inability to do much without a support, she can be easily punished. Play safe early game, and avoid getting poked by her auto, rend reset. Late game will be in favor of Vayne like many of the other matchups.
Miss Fortune
Another cancer early game champ to play against. Her new passive will do tons of damage but like always, LATE GAME is in your favor.
Sivir
Another easy match up, you will be favorable to win early if played correctly and also late game.
Tristana
One of the bigger counters to Vayne, Tristana is an extremely strong ADC, she has a top-notch early, mid and late game. Will be difficult to play against but if you manage to purchase a merc or qss, you can take off her bomb and attempt to duel her. Tristana is likely, one of the stronger counters to vayne, but play safe and farm, you are dependent towards LATE GAME.
Varus
QSS=counter, varus strong early but very immobile and easy to kill. Basically get's three shot late game. Usually positions towards back line to poke. Also loses to mid-late game Vayne.
Kog'Maw
Kog is immobile but high on late game damage. His counter is to be cc'd, if he does he will not be able to get his guinsoo stacks (possibly) and die. LOW MOBILTY, NO ESCAPES, SQUISHY.
Kennen
Not played as often, but easy match up, will lose once you obtain that SWEET QSS.
Vayne is a high mobility champion, but she is also extremely squishy. Her early game is quite bad, but her late game definitely makes up for it. If you (the vayne player) are able to farm it out safely, and have good control on auto attacks. Vayne is possibly the worst early game marksman in the game, as she is easily bullied in lane. However, her late game is one of the best in the game if she is played correctly.
