I always do the same combo, either i atack enemy or minions.. Q spell to strike a target, then E spell to jump behind the target, and W spell to smash the target. This do a lot of damage at early game, so if u want to play with Katarina and have a good score, u must use that combo every time u can.. Q spell on minions and then W spell will kill all minions in front of you when u buy first AP item.. That`s realy strong combo, your Q spell is giving u chance to do a lot of bonus damage with E and W spell if the target was marked with sword above her head. If there is not a good situations for ganking try to do some damage to turet with your basic atack and keep the E spell to jump on minion or some player if there is jungler coming or help from lanes. Usually I do my best to destroy turret first in game so I can gank lanes earlier, but if u can`t do it because a jungler is around the mid all the time, then just kill all the minions, and let your minions do all the job. They are good at it.. :) If u see that enemy is standing behind 4 minions or less then use your Q spell on first minion and u will do some damage to enemy too. First level the Q spell, then W spell then E, ulti whenever u can.. Because Kata`s ulti is realy crazy.. :D And i dont want to forget this, when u reach lvl 6, if u are not low with hps, combo on enemy on mid , Ulty behind him and ignite him right away, he will die or go back for sure. So u will have a lot of time to gank some week enemy or to smash the turret.
Play agressive and u will kill anyone on mid. If u have Vladimir or some champ which can reduce damage taken from your ulti or spells with his spells then try damage him with combo and gank bot and top when ever u got the chance to do that.. Soon his spells will not be so strong to keep fighting against u..
Try to avoid team fights in begining of it, u should be the last one who will come and collect all kills with combo and ulti for the end. If u see 3 enemies with hp`s lower then half and if that champs dont have stuns , u are free to atack them with combo and ulti right away believe me, u will got triple kill in 3 sec. :)
What is most important, your CD is refreshed imidiatly when u got yourself kill or assist, so u can just do you combo on next champ and on next and u will kill them all.. Just get your self 3 0 score at begining , and at the end u will finish with best score and u will be the worst nightmare for enemies..
Try not to go first in team fights like 5 vs 5 or 4 vs 4. I know that Kata is strong, but she`s ulty can atack 3 targets, and if some of they have stuns, your ulty will be canceled.
Dont force ulty on Vladimir, Jax, Morgana and champs like that. Let someone goes first , when they use their stuns, combo , and ulti will solve that fight in 5-10sec.
