Hello and welcome to my Shaco guide. This guide will show you a guide for Shaco where he has both survivability and damage for being both the initiator (if needed) and the bursting champion that we all know and love to hate. Shaco

Standard runes work well on Shaco as the early game armor and magic resist will make it much easier for you to gank the enemies and take much less damage from them while dealing a sufficient amount of damage to boot.

Offensive masteries on Shaco are a must as he is one of the best assassins in the ENTIRE game. Executioner is a great mastery to get on Shaco as you will want to gank them at 50% hp to make sure the kill is yours.

Wriggles lantern is a must on Shaco as it will just make him that much faster at clearing both your jungle and the enemies. Madreds is also one of the mosst important items on Shaco as it will give him more sustain against those pesky ADCs (who are soon to be bursted down by Shaco) as well as giving him much more damage as they watch as there beloved champs die to the mighty Shaco. Phantom Dancers and boots of mobility work in almost a perfect fashion due to the movement speed buff from both when going to gank and the movement speed from the dancers for that added escape when being chased. Infinity edge also makes it much easier to kill champions who are running from you as your passive will help you burst them down much quicker then normal.
A guardian angle is a great choice if you want to come back and take down the stragglers from the fight.

If you find yourself in some trouble and there team has a lot of cc and are quickly bursting you down, then try for more sustain while still doing good damage to the enemy. Some good choices for sustain on Shaco are: Frozen mallet as you still gain attack damage while gaining a large amount of hp and slowing the enemy champions, A quicksilver sash is also another good choice for sustain as you gain a large boost for magic resist and also having the option to remove the enemy debuffs if need arises. You can also take out madreds and add a sunfire cape, a force of nature or a guardian angle.

Jack in the box is an obvious choice when jungling as you will have on of the fastest starts in the game as well as a small level advantage over the enemy jungler if you choose to go straight to red after getting wolves and blue which you then are able to quickly gank a lane for first blood. Maxing shiv first is good as you will obviously do more damage as well as increase the passive buff and the slow after using the ability.

There is no real need for me to state why there summoner spells are to be taken, but if you want you could also try ignite instead of flash or instead of smite if your feeling lucky.

Pros:
Shaco is one of the best junglers in the entire game and can dominate them both depending on how you play him and who the enemy jungler is.

Has a great ganking mechanism from his passive, e and q.

Has great escape as well

Putting a box down in the middle of a team fight is a great way to turn the tide of a team fight as it will cause the champions the scramble around while you and your team deal massive damage to the opposing champions.

Cons:
If Shaco gets caught by the enemy team with either no mana or while on cooldowns, then you can almost guarantee that Shaco will die.

Vision wards and Oracles will ruin your entire game

Shaco is a great jungler with one of the fastest clearing speeds in the entire game which allows him to have a small leveling advantage almost the entire game and which will allow him for stronger ganking. When ganking, you must look at all of your options depending on the lane your ganking and how many times you have ganked it. If you have gankked the lane 2-3 times, chances are that there are going to be wards in the lane, and this is where Shaco's q plays a big role in his ganking power as you can gank from lane better then anyone in the game.

Shaco is as good a team player as he is a solo fighter with his ability to get in behind the enemy team and cut down the ADC before they even know hes dead. This innate ability to fight as well as Shaco dose if what makes him such a good champion to play as. If you are looking for someone who works very well with Shaco, I would suggest trying anyone who can disable the enemy, even if its only for a short period of time, champions like this include Alistar, Malphite, Blitzcrank and Amumu.

Some of his unique skills include: Being able to effectively gank from lane with his q, his relatively fast jungle speed and his ability to fear the entire enemy team instead of a single target such as Fiddlesticks or Nocturne.
