yeah it's pretty hard to use relics, but i tried it a lot and it's possible. The positive about Face of the Mountain is, that you get really tanky, already in the early game, something you won't achieve with the other support items.

But overall i would say, that rakan is one of the few supports who is playable with all 3 support items, depending on matchup and playstyle.
