This build is basically ultra high dps CDR lux. by 18 you should have 24 second cooldown on your ultimate and hit for 400+ extra dmg on the Lich Bane passive.

start with the base boots, 2 health potions, and 1 mana potion. stay in lane (preferably mid) till you can get most, if not all, of sheen. once you have sheen you should be able to take over a solo lane pretty quickly. Morello's should come after sorcerer's shoes, the reason I do not use Ionian is because you should be at maximum CDR after morello's and runes. Abyssal Scepter is important because it supports your teammates and the MR is very useful. Rabbadon's is an obvious choice for any DPS caster. Lich Bane stacking with Lux's passive is silly. At end build choose most any armor, I default Guardian Angel because it is just good. however if you are up against a high AD team Thornmail is a better choice.

start with Light Binding, follow with Lucent Singularity and Prismatic Barrier. Max Lucent Singularity first, in solo lane it is an excellent at harassing and will get you in range for Finales Funekeln.

That is an important lesson for soloing mid, YOU MUST HARASS! keep the opponent scared and backed up, then when they are down to about 150 put them away with Finales. This is Lux's main strength at mid she can hurt the enemy with out taking too many hits.

Whenever you can use Q and W to save your teammates, this can be a devastating way to rob your opponents of gold, exp, and time.

Start by caging the pursuers, then when use W to keep the runner's health up. keep this up till they are safe
