1. I was using Teleport before I went with Clarity but I found Clarity to be more useful with my play style. I'm certainly not against the use of Teleport and I'll use that over Clarity from time to time, but I can avoid the use of Mana items early in game with Clarity. It's been a while since I've used it, so I'll throw it in the next couple of games I play so how it goes!
2. I've looked at Shurelya's Battlesong a few times, but never actually bought it. I'll give it a try.
3. Never considered Spirit Visage. I'll see if I can work it in, think it may be helpful in games against a more Magic based squad.
RE P.S.: It may be today!
Again, thanks for the comments and suggestions!
May I suggest a couple of things?
1) Try using Teleport over Clarity for a few games. It has almost the same effect early game, as it lets you go back to base to replenish your mana and return to lane instantly, but it also gives you back your health and lets you buy. Late game it has MORE utility than clarity for Rammus, because he can teleport back into a teamfight, teleport to a ward to gank, or teleport to a turret and quickly tremor it down. Just give it a shot for me willya?
2) Since you are buying that philosoper stone anyway, see if it's useful to upgrade it to Shurelya's Battlesong. I always think it's a fun item to have, giving your team a slight speed boost that can mean life/death in a fight or success/failure in a gank.
3) Test out Spirit Visage. With your health regen items, it will add a nice % increase to the build and give your more magic resistance and cooldown reduction. One of the coolest things about the build.
If you try 2/3 you will add considerable cooldown reduction and utility to your build without increasing the overall cost that much. Give it a try and let me know how it works out!
P.S. A day of work well spent IMO! Thank you for the guide (now waste another making your build order).
