Hum, what about those new tenacity items for him?

Most of the tenacity items, currently, are "mid-game" items, that have low effect for low cost.

Seeing as competitively, with a good team, nothing is better on Singed than Rylai's, we don't want to waste the time spending gold on those items. Instead, we want to buy Rylai's the moment we can afford it, to make the first team fight as hellish as possible for the opponents.

Then I prefer to rush my RoA because of the sheer stats (Namely 810ish HP after his passive is factored) it gives Singed, while his ult gives him some resistances, and the slowing on Rylai's is generally enough in regards to survivability. After it stacks just between those two item's you'll have 160 AP, +1300 HP, and therefore be quite tanky with the resistances from your ult. Then you get your resistances, and there's really never a moment where you'll want to stop getting tankier and buy a tenacity item.

THE EXCEPTION BEING: They have a comp like... Kennen, Amumu, Sona, Annie, and Ashe, and the amount of CC in front of you is just killing your ability to function.

In this scenario you have basically 2 options:

1) Merc treads + singed ult = 65% CC reduction. -Please- believe that is a lot of CCR =D

2) Eleisa's Miracle or Moonflair (25 Tenacity) + Singed ult = 55% CCR. Also, quite nice, but don't make the mistake of thinking that's not a noticeable difference. It's -almost- the difference between 1/2 and 1/3 =P

A 2 second stun for example, with 55% CCR = .9 second.

a 2 second stun with 65% CCR = .7 second. You'll be wading through their ranks with much more freedom if their CC's are being toyed with, which is exactly what you need as Singed.

Because of this, VRS -really high- CC teams, Merc treads are actually going to offer a more "Team-fight-functional" kind of mobility than Move speed, and you may want to but them just for that fact, as his ult gives move speed and the MR can't hurt if you're trying to tank.

Yet, vrs high CC teams, a tenacity item will afford you the move 3 boots, and 25 tenacity as well.

So while it's not a -bad- idea, I'd still prefer to simply rush the items listed, and more resistances, and not spend the gold on an item like that.

Also just a thought but 260 armor and 160 MR on 3700 HP isn't exactly what I would call squishy... Lmfao. n00bs these days.

I know you don't care and I don't really post, but this definitely is a good way to approach using Singed. It helps your game with him immensely. Sure like every other selection you have a change to win or not win, but I love it. No suggestions tbh as I don't have the experience, perhaps a look at champs that this particular Singed is good with for structured play?

Def upV.

PS @ FP: This is a framework for you to work with, it isn't meant to be fully followed to a T since situations change over time. Keep a few pages ready for when you come to certain lineups and read about spells and runes yourself. There's only a few choices of each, so why repost those choices when it's better to research yourself? /rant

Aye lad. There be trolls lurkin' round every corner. Look at this most recent post, this guy thinks you shouldn't buy Rylai's cause your enemies won't chase you then HAHAHA =D

Not quite, was just too tired to explain why.

First of all - you will almost be squishy with this build, and you as singed will be the tank and you will have to be able to take quite abit of a beating.

Secondly, you get Rylais which is working as greatly against you as anything have ever been - unless your enemies are downright ******ed they will not chase you through your poison if your poison slows them.. And as we all know, singed loves when people chase him through his poison (you understand this because you do get both Swiftness and FoN) so Rylais is a big no.

Thirdly, your first back should always bring you a catalyst - catalyst is simply too good on singed to not get - it's like Tryndamere without IE.

LOOLLLLLL!!!
!!!

RYLAI'S IS WORKING AGAINST MEEE!!!! =DDDD

Oh, I feel so much better about your downvote now.

Cause now there's no doubt you don't know what this champion's all about 8D

Also... Wtf? =P I do get catalyst on my first back broooo.

I have a few problems with this guide. All in all this seems more like a preach about Singed, and not so much about how to play him, and what to build. You don't even once mention the build in your guide, and don't go over every item's efficiency. While you do mention RoA and RCS as well as your Summoner Spells somewhere in there - it simply isn't good enough for a guide. You need to explain what runes to get, why you choose the Masteries you choose, and very importantly, which items to get, and when to get them. Even if it shows in the build, it doesn't mean that it is automatically viable. You need to defend any possible critisism that can be made against your choices in the build. And no, you're not supposed to wait for the critisism and then explain. It should be in your guide from the beginning.

Other than this general speaking I have a few technical things to point out: I'd most certainly prioritise Banshee's Veil over that of Force of Nature. Know why? Guess why. First, there's the passive of Banshee's which is the main reason to get it. Secondly the mana you gain from it helps quite a bit and has decent synergy with your Utility mastery giving you more mana. (I would however not use this at all, as the bonus you gain is pretty darn small. Since you speak of solo-laning a lot, you should by any means prioritise the Experience bonus.)

And secondly, your Masteries. I honestly see no use for that Defensive Mastery that lowers minions damage on you by 1. It's completely and utterly useless - You should rather be getting a level 3 Mastery in Utility, which could be based on Greed for extra gold, passively gained throughout the game, or for mana regen or things like that.

^Just a few things. Not voting down, don't worry. But I sure as hell am not gonna vote up either. Needless to say, I hope for improvement on your guidemaking in the future :)

Kirluu~

I've added a brief section detailing that, but the guide's not all about those choices. It's more about Singed and the role he plays.
