Honestly if I was gonna write another guide It'd certainly be Riven, but my Gangplank guide took me a few months to do, and I don't really have much time anymore.

Regarding armor pen in general: Because she gets an ad ratio on every skill she has, it's almost always better to build ad over armor pen. The only time I'd pick up Last Whisper is if one enemy has 170 or higher armor, or if most of them have decent armor.

Yes,you can,and it is viable, but it is good to build Atmog's.Combination of HP,HP regen, armor and damage is great on fighters such as Riven.

It's not all about having high health/regen with Atmog's. You can build other items like Randuin's Omen to make up for it.

Dude, you're wrong.Atmog's does work on Riven due to her close range of abilities and attacks. She needs HP and HP regeneration.

"...Riven is a melee caster"
- That also makes Last Whisper an amazing item for her, and will really help against any enemy stacking armor otherwise all that AD you're building won't mean much.

- Riven also really needs Frozen Mallet to keep her enemy closer when using her combo. Atmog's build doesn't work for everyone ^^;

Ok, some thoughts:

First, I'm sure you don't mean to make this a whole standard guide, but you should still include runes. Also, If you want to build, say, Frozen Mallet, instead of spelling out the entire recipe, just go Phage --> Giant's Belt --> Frozen Mallet. It's unnecessary clutter imo.

You get 3 Doran's Blades early, which is a fairly effective stratagy, but you should definitely get boots before the third, probably before the second. She has good mobility in general, but you will lose many kills because the target is just out of range and you can't catch up once you've used your skills.

Skills: Broken Wings is an excellent skill, and leveling it early does good damage, but you have to consider your cooldowns. Riven is a melee caster, which means all the ad your have in this build is put to much better use if you have all your skills available. Leveling your Q first doesn't lower the cd at all; leveling Valor, Ki Burst, or your ult will all lower those cooldowns.

Infinity Edge is an excellent offensive item, but it is 10x better when you are building some crit damage around it. Remember, if you just want high ad, go for Bloodthirster (as I see you do. If you want to keep it, I very highly recommend Atma's Impaler to go with Frozen Mallet, and maybe even subbing Warmog's Armor for FM.

This is a straight offensive build, and there is something to be said for that, but you have absolutely no magic resist. That means you are very vulnerable to pretty much any caster who can keep away from you. If you have 500 ad that's great, but how are you going to deal with an Ahri who can dance away from you all day, or a LeBlanc or Xerath who will be nuking you from halfway across the map? A good fix here would be Maw of Malmortius, which is still a good offensive item, so it should fit pretty well into your build.

As requested, those are my thoughts. Sorry if they seem to mean; Riven is my favorite solo top (and solo top is my favorite lane) so I've given this kind of thing a lot of thought.

Health is a giant problem due to her close range of attack and abilities. She is not meant to rely on strong attacks and life steal, she is meant to be played with lots of endurance, smartcasts, making good timed combos. My guide is still much stronger than yours because of 1350 more HP(you didn't count Warmog's passive),30 HP regen more,63 more armor,73 more magic resistance,35 more tenacity,15 more armor penetration. You do have 122 more damage and 36 more life steal, but nothing more than this. You are lower level and you don't realize that yet,I hope you will when you start playing ranked games.

and another thing...don't forget the life steal taht will give you sustainability in a fight even whit low healt ;)

Healt is not a problem if I can kill almost anyone whit 4-5 hits, and think about Combos you get 3 hits in 1-2 secs and using stun you buy youre fourt hit ;)
You must begin to understand a champion and what it can do because reading what's recomended doesn't mean it is the best :)
.....and you have 3660 HP and I have 2662 HP, 1000 HP is enough to spare in the case that you don't let them a chance even to touch you.

Right, when you face champions such as Ashe, Caitlyn or any other ranged carry with slowing abilities, you cannot win. Riven is not a carry, she's a fighter, you don't know how to play her, that is why you have no comments! Are you nuts?

You don't understand how it works, I have the right to vote at my free will and youre build is not good enough, it's only a mix of items, Riven is a pure damage champion and vhit my Bloodthirsters she will reach 500 Attack Damage wich is enough for me to kill almost everyoane o the field. And if someone puts me problems let-s not forget that I convert 40% of my damage into life, wich means that at every hit i'll return approximately 200 HP

So you can play whatever you want but I simply voted my impresion on youre guide.
