Hi, I'm SweetySweety and play on the EU Nordic & East. I made this guide because I've played Riven a number of games since she was released and find this guide fits her perfectly. I have seen many different item build of her as AD, Burst, Assassin or Off-tank.I hope that you will try my build and post some feedback with possible suggestions or improvements, be it to my item choices, masteries, rune selection, or summoner spells I appreciate the feedback.

Pros
-Great for farming.
-Hard to chase down.
-High damage. If you know how to properly use her.
-Gets great mobility with her skills.
-And of course she is very fun to play.

CONS
-Skills take positioning.
-Seems to get targeted due to being squishy.
-Hard to learn use her.


-Increased mobility when trying to escape or chase an enemy.
-Good damage, if used right.
-The third use can help knock up enemy for your teammates to catch up.
-Every use of Q give a charge to Runic Blade
-Cooldowns dont reduce with each level.
-You have to position this skill.


-Great AOE stun and burst damage.
-Cooldowns reduce with each level.
-Can screw up ultimates from champions like Nunu & Willump Miss Fortune Katarina
-Must be close to the enemy or minion.
-The stun lasts only 0.5 seconds


-Offers a health shield that can save you from ultimates like ---- ----
-Use to dodge stuns and attacks from champions like Morgana Lux Ezreal Dr. Mundo Nidalee
- Great for escaping or catching up to enemies.


-Gives bonus attack damage for 15 seconds.
-Great for using in team fights for killing blows.
-Can be used to kill stealth champions if they are front of you with low health.
-Must press R twice in order to use Windslash.

MARK
This rune combine with her passive Runic Blade = AWESOME

Greater Mark of Desolation If you prefer this rune it goes equally well

SEAL
These are to compensate for Riven's fairly low base armor and give her some more survivability early game.

If you have the IP to buy this and would prefer this, they're not a bad choice. I'm just not a fan of building dodge on Riven.

GLYPH
I'm trying to build a little magic resist in order not to be so squishy.

This rune is very good at Riven but since I already built cooldown reduction on items it's may be better with magic resist.

QUINTESSENCE
Greater Quintessence of Desolation
Honestly, there are a number of Quint who would be a good choice Greater Quintessence of Health Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage are great choices for Riven. I chose Armor Pen because my goal is to make her a real threat early game, and still get benefit from my Quints later into the game.

Maxing Broken Wings first! Broken Wings is a great skill that is awesome in the whole game.
