So this would be my first guide and i'm doing it for riven because she is my favorite champ and I have a play style of my own that so far has worked very well for me. Any help at all making this guide would be greatly appreciated.

Right now i'm going to put it together just to get the build out there and I will update it with more detail and explanations later.

Because Riven has no mana or energy stopping her from using her skills except cooldown I experimented early on with max cooldowns for her. I have in my eye's perfected this "max cooldown" build and thats what I am going to be using. Her skills give her 10% cooldown from the start as well as a lead in xp while farming top. I typically hit six before my opponent and can sometimes grab first blood with my ult. The starting gold will give me a dorans sheild and health pot to sustain my lane easily as well as get my items faster than my opponent top lane who will usually be in the defense or offense tree.

The 30% cooldown from the two items I get along with my 10& in talents will max out Riven at 40% cooldown making chasing and escaping with Q and E much faster. It will also grant you a mini stun several times in a fight and your ult will be off cooldown almost every encounter. Ionian boots of lucidity, frozen mallet, and Yommuu's ghost blade are my core items. The others I would add in there are situational but include infinity edge, bloodthirster, atmas impaler and maw of malmortius

In solo top I will usually take teleport and exhaust and then sometimes have to build mercury's treads due to CC. If I can take it however or the CC is really low on the opponents team, cleanse will work just fine and you wont need teleport to keep you in top lane.

The runes I take help Riven stay in top lane with defense and health and adds to the armor pen that yommuu's ghostblade will give you and that will suffice enough for your armor pen.
