Introduction

This is my Riven AD build. I noticed that some builds say there AD but end up having about 200-250 AD. This build will get you to 300-350 AD. This is my first guide and would glady appreciate feedback!

Runes

Marks
For my marks I would get 9 Greater Desolation runes. These give you give penetration against tanky opponents who stack up on armour. It also help take out those squishy characters more easily.

Seals
I go with 9 Greater Focus runes. These reduce my cooldown. These runes + the cooldown reduction of Nashor's Tooth will dramatically reduce the cooldown on your abilities. Since Riven is fully cooldown based, it is very important to have low cooldowns because nothing is worse then running out of abilites half way through a battle.

Glyphs
For my glyphs I go with 9 Greater Strength runes. These basically up my AD. With a ton of AD, Riven's abilites do even more damage.

Quintessences
For my quintessences I go with 3 Greater Desolation runes. This is just more armour penetration and work great with the 9 marks.

Masteries

For my masteries I go with 21/9/0. 21 in offence means I am more deadly early on in the game, and during the rest of the game, while the 9 in defence can help with escaping and help generally in early game.

Items & when to get 'em.

Early Game
When you first start you should get Boots of Speed. This will help you run to, and from fights. I find that when I get an opponent on low health early game, they tend to run away, with boots of speed I (most of the time) have the speed advantage. You should try to stay in lane until level 6. By then you should have your ultimate and enough for Ionian Boots of Lucidity and possibly a Vamperic Scepter. If you don't have enough for Vamperic Scepter just jump in lane until you do. You should have it at level 7. After you scepter, it will be easier to get health back, just keep farming minions, and if you can, other players. By level 9 you should have you B.F. Sword and by level 10-11 you should have the complete Blood Thirster.

Mid Game
You should have you Stinger by level 12 and you should have your Black Cleaver by level 13-15. By now you will have decent Attack Damage, Attack Speed, and enough life steal. By Mid Game (unless you have a bad team that includes a feeder) you should be feeding on the other team.

Late Game
You should have your Nashor's Tooth by level 16. With your Nashor's Tooth and full runes, your cooldowns will be very small. You should have your Infinity Edge when you go into level 18. You will then get your Ghost Blade whenever you can. Usually the game would have ended before you get your Ghost Blade, but if the game does go on, its active will make you unbeatable.

Summoner Spells

I use the common AD - carrying spells, Exhaust and Flash. If an enemy trys to run, I would flash to them and stun them with Ki Burst. I use Exhaust if I'm chasing a enemy and I either: don't have flash up or to use flash is a waste because the enemy is too close to use flash, but too far to catch up to them. Both flash and Exhaust can be used to help escape a battle aswell. If you went into a 1v1 and you are getting beaten, either flash out of there, or exhaust them and run.
