I don't like this build. It has no CDR which is still essential to ryze, and ROA is generally a bad item unless you can get it by 15 or so. it just takes too long to stack and is reasonably expensive. I still prefer the usual build on ryze, but i get AA early instead (probably after boots, tear, and one defensive item bv/fh). I get a ryalis for permaslow and health (the ap is now useful) if the team needs it, then the other defensive item (bv/fh). 6th item depends on what i need. Often ill get a warmogs, tanky ryze is a win and he does plenty of damage at this point. If i have tanks and i am able to stay behind them, i suppose a death cap would do well - i havent tried it yet i admit.

but 4 roa unless you get very fed very early is a bad idea. 1 is good if you can manage it before 15, otherwise i don't get it.
