Wriggle's is the way to go on Lee Sin after the remake.

I agree with your opinion that spirit items are better than wriggles lantern to some extent but there are times where wriggles lantern may be more of use. I also researched on Lee-Sin's retune. It saddens me that his Safeguard energy will now me 100energy instead of 50... Also his ulti will not be as strong in a 1v1 situation. I would like to know your opinions on this nerf/buff.

They might change the item and they change Lee Sin but for now Spirit items are superior I guess.

I took consideration in the differences between the spirit items and wriggle's lantern. In the past, I would usually focus on building the elder lizard or the spirit of the golem. The reason why i chose to pick wriggle's lantern over the spirit items is because the masteries and runes you use syngergize with your clear time in the jungle AND the bonus attack speed will allow you to destroy turrets swifter. I also researched that in the near future, wriggles lantern will turn into a feral flare. This new item buff is extremely useful if you plan on farming in the jungle and come out like a beast. Lee-sin has a pretty fast clear time so you can gank a lane whenever you would like. Since lee-sin is also hard to recover from unsuccessful ganks, you can get the feral flare to recover and come out mid game like a monster. If you read the part where it says you deal 33 magic damage per attack, including champions you might think the spirit items may still exceed the wriggle's lantern. BUT what makes this item so unique is the passive where each champion kill, assist, large monsters will give you life steal! This means more sustain in the jungle and better dueling potential. So, deciding on a wriggle's lantern and spirit items all depend on what your role should be in your current game.

Wriggle's is never an option. The item sucks and I'm surprised you don't realize this as a platinum player.
