Good guide so far, it's a different approach than most. Keep working on it.

Hmmm asides from trying to advance the damage of Thresh, what about just capitalizing on all the tankiness he gets from his passive to become a monster lategame? I do this on Nautilus occasionally, but from what I've seen Thresh matches a character that might be better to avoid doing damage and just all out tank. Any thoughts?

EDIT

Im currently refining a hybrid build starts brutalizer (for cd +dmg and cdr) -> sheen. At this point i think the best route is Rylias Crystal Scepter then lichbane. Ive tried adding hextech in but for one reason or another it just doesnt seem to work right :)

EDIT: Sorry forgot that you need to finish into Black Cleaver before goin Rylias or Lich unless your having issues with your health. Then i would at least get the giants belt for rylia for survivability.

Hmm interesting concept.. I'd have to go try it out before I say anything, but from the get-go I'm just seeing some problems with the CD on Thresh's abilities (even with CDR) and Lich Bane. One of the things I could see working is a combo move with hooking in or sweeping someone while having the passive up for a major burst move with Lich, and that's nice but what about getting some constant, reliable damage down? Are you going to incorporate attack speed somewhere in here? Keep me posted.
P.S. I love the idea of Rylai's. Make him even harder to escape from. On the other hand does he dish out enough abilities that it's worth it to Rylai's? Then again, I haven't tested it, so I gotta go do that.

You know besides all the flaming going on on this guide I see a bunch of good players keeping their eyes (albeit an eye in a shaking head) and I was wondering what the possibility of using a Sheen or various forms of upgraded Sheen (Iceborn Gauntlet, Lich's Bane, Trinity Force). Is there hope for this kind of idea? I thought it'd work great with his Q, but I could be mistaken.

Hey, not trying to add fuel to the fire but I - and possibly many others - would appreciate you removing this AD carry build from your guide to help prevent people "trying" it in games. As I play support primarily, I've had a few games where it was just hopeless for the enemy team with Thresh as their AD carry and I really just can't see how it would work against people who actually have a clue how to play, imo. Maybe I'm just a noob and don't see it - who knows.

Also, I prefer the masteries from astrolia's guide (here). Runes can be either one, I suppose. I've only used your ability order so far as the cooldown on lantern is quite useful for collecting souls/saving teammates during laning phase... Depends how you play the lane so can't really say either is "better" really.

Another thing, take note of Cthulhu921. It seems a lot of people on here have their heads up their *** for some reason then claim that they use this site for the "community". I know you only made this guide to try and help people and I can honestly say it was decent enough for someone who's at least watched the Champion Spotlight along with reading up the abilities. Of course, it clearly is nowhere near as detailed as many of the top guides on here; however, having a ****ty guide to work with (no offence :D) sorta motivated me to purchase him and start using him for at least a day so I'll thank you for that due to him being quite challenging to play.

As his primary role is best suited as support (in my opinion), I can't say I agree with the cheat sheets being for each lane but can see how it'll be useful for someone who wants to test it out and have a brief idea of what items may be suitable as a guideline. I may be new here but I really don't see what's wrong with creating early guides, guys... Maybe someone can use information from these and explain it in more depth in their own guides once they're more experienced.

This is my first ever guide on here so of course I'm gonna get flamed. Haters gonna hate my friend, nothing I can do about that :)

Thresh's range is really poor and his CDs are high. Although he can synergize with Iceborn (armor + cdr + sheen proc) he needs a build that can back that up. Still, in my opinion it's the only sheen evolution that could work well on him.

As for the guide: please practice the game more. I don't mean this as an insult, I sincerely think that you need to know the game better before you can rush a guide like this.

I'm only posting one more response to you here and then I'm done wasting my time responding.

[Insert continued discussion]

No sir. It was a joke, chill.

Oh and please stop trolling in my discussions. You had already stated your opinion earlier, now you're just trolling me and will get no further response from me.

QED.

And I was never angry, nor was it implied.

I saw you have changed the Top lane guide to include the brutalizer/black cleaver, just thought i would point out you didn't change the endgame build though. I dont know if this is intentional or not.
