Champion Build Guide
Intro
Hello, my name is Sheen. I'm a level 70 Gragas OTP from EUNE that has over 440 games on Gragas alone this season and over 250k mastery points. I mainly play Full AP Gragas Mid but this is a high risk high reward playstyle not suitable for new players. Phase Rush Top is a much more suitable playstyle for new players that are just getting into this champ as its less harder because there are many melee picks.
Why Gragas?
Gragas is a very viable pick due to how many lanes he can play. He can play Mid, Top, Support and Jungle. His damage, cc and utility allow him to be a great teamfighter. His Explosive Cask
is a great way to engage and disengage allowing to both pull enemies to you and push enemies away. He has many great combos that are mostly one shot and I recommend practicing them in the practice tool. Once you get the mechanics down you are ready to be a real bomba man.

CONS
- Mercury treads and mr are his biggest counter
- If behind he is practically useless - High cooldowns early game and zero damage - Combo can be easily dodged - Long travel time on R

Laning phase
Early game Gragas is really bad due to high cooldowns, high mana usage and low damage UNLESS you build Tear into Rod of ages (but this is not a guide about that). You should farm with W
which allows you to proc passive for cheap, have higher range and have damage reduction.
Don't poke with your Q
since it will drain your mana quickly. Only poke if you are going to last hit a minion and hit your enemy laner.
Once you get 1100 gold recall asap and get Lost Chapter. This will solve your mana problems as it regens 20 percent of your max mana once you level up allowing you to farm with Q
and deal lots of damage.
Once you reach level 6 you should push and try to outplay with your Phase Rush/Electrocute. If they are pushing you back you can try to R
them under tower.
If your enemy starts running away E
+ Flash Flash them. That will catch them off guard and you will get a free kill. You can also E

Tips
Always pick up an Oracle Lens after laning phase ends. That allows you to sidelane without being seen. Also remember to buy Control Wards.
