im pretty much in the same line of thinking as giga, if u stack a couple sunfire capes u get the armor and hp so that taunted enemies wont damage u at all(procential). but i disagree about the thorns, if the opposite team have 2 or more auto attackers such as yi and warwick i would greatly recommend the thorns, with 3 sunfire and one thorns your punishment is heavy with the taunt! (damage return and 120dps passive aoe) its like when me and my clan member as xin play 3v3 (sometimes works 5v5), we ace the opposite team alone, he initiate with chare and ulti, i mass taunt them, punishing them with atleast somenasty harass damage, this damage is enought 2 get the whole team on the run, cuz while taunted he punishes them with the talon strike. usually ends up with their whole team to fall under 50% hp or lower plus one of them dead ;) and if team does heavy ap bursts and stuff like that, i also recommend the angel armor^^ as i see u use. this also works when playing random 5v5, if u see a team member fighting 1v1 and loosing, u just ulti him and taunt, w skill and auto attack (and POW! ks xD)

From what I've played of Shen, ANY attack speed, damage, or lifesteal from items is unnecessary. Shen can hold his own just fine without it, and besides, he's not a dpser, he's a tank. So, if I were you, I would replace the Malady with another Sunfire Cape. It will provide more health and armor, and some more passive dps. Granted, it's SLIGHTLY more expensive, but it's worth it. I would even go so far as to say you should skip the Thornmail, too, but that's up to you.

Check out MY build if you get a chance, too. It has served me well... Right here. Click right here. No, not there, here!

for starters, you only have 5 items there

for shen, you need to focus on getting a huge max hp
