Recently Shen took a "nerf". People think that this so called nerf hurt him bad but I look at it like a buff. His Passive is alot stronger now so hers how I suggest building him.

I took Armour Yellows for early game so you can maybe get a level 1 kill. Aswell the HP reds help alot with your passive early game and late game. Magic resist blues to counter mages. Aswell he attack speed Quints allow for shen to eiher backdoor or be played as an off tank.

Skills are pretty basic to learn. Take your Q and let you other lane partner farm about 30 creeps then start some farm yourself. You E is more important then your W early because our W scales of ap so it will be a really weak shield. Taking things into consideration if the enemy team is mostly AD I suggest taking 1 or 2 in W at lvl 8-10. Your Ulti is a great save or gank method. If one of your team mates is getting ganked ulti in and then taunt them while your team mate gets away.

Ghost and Exhaust are great for shen but you can take a variety of Summoners.

Flash-Good get Away or good for ganking
CV-Good for early game / jungle tracking
Rally- Rally? Great for team fights extra damage
Ignite-To reduce heals if playing against a taric,nidalee,or soraka.

Shen has become overall a better tank. He can dish out a bunch more damage while stacking health on him. Even though he may not be as great early game he shines mid game. He can focus down carries and he can tank like a champ. His ulti is a great saving method aswell.
