So, All the shen builds i've found have seem to be either out dated, or one sided on the armor vs Magic resist. Lately i've found more and more teams to be balancing the AP and AD champions and this is my build that has worked pretty solid.

As being noob to the site, I cannot make the little fancy icons come up, so I'll just explain my build.

I always start out with the Merc threads Just because as a tank being disabled sucks, when you cannot help your team out.

Next I rush the Guardian Angel, for multiple reasons. 1. Deaths suck. 2. At the lower lvls, Ulting in on a teamate, and using the Guardian is better than eatting a death. Also, early game teamfights, you may be a little squishy, so If you get focused in a teamfight, your team has a better chance of winning the fight, and when you rez, you can easily dash out. Also a reason I use ghost as a summoner ability. Its also a nice balance of armor and magic resist, for whatever the other team may be throwing at you.

2nd I Rush the Sunfire cape. This gives good HP, which shen lacks.

3rd can go 1 of 2 ways, either warmogs or force of nature, depending on what part of the team seems to be hurting the most. Generally i go with the force of nature, seeing as earlier on the AP toons hurt more than AD in my experience.

As far as summoner spells go, I use teleport and Ghost. I like teleport, even tho some may disagree, for early game when a teamate in another lane needs your ult, you can quickly get back to your lane with little time lost. And ghost for those Rez > dash > ghost away situations.
