FYI: This is my first ever build and any criticism will be taken into account. Thank you.

Summoner Spells

These are my two preferences which i use on most classes. Because Shen is a slow ninja (kinda a contradiction) i use ghost as a defensive spell. But like many other champs i use it and Ignite in conjunction if im chasing an enemy at low heath. I've also seen Fortify used on a class like this and if you are take the point on your mastery tree out of Expanded Mind and put it in Reinforce.

Item Builds

I like to start of with two heath pots and a rejuv. bead. If you want you can get a third health pot but ive never found a need for a third. during Laning Phase farm as much gold as possible and the first item you should build is the Frozen Mallet. Mostly because of the 700 health and the slowing effect for 2.25 sec, that combined with a ghost use can help you run down that pesky low health enemy.

Now at this point you can build one of two ways: Go with the Warmogs first and then stack sunfires or get a few sunfires and then go for a Warmogs. I like going for the Sunfires first for the added Magic Damage and then progressing on to the warmog after a minimum of one sunfire. Most of the time if you go with the two sunfires then a warmog you may not get to another sunfire unless you are in an extremely long game (like 70-80+ minutes). If necessary you may need to sell the Rejuv. bead after you get the Warmogs to help a little.

Again this is my first ever Build so please give me all the criticism, both positive and negative, that you feel would help out this build.
