Hi guys, I like you to meet my newest and first Shyvana build. Ever since Shyvana was nerfed she has had a hard time farming,jungling, and just completely owning. I am making this build for the Shyvana fans who think she is now, a broken champion. (She is not at all) XD
I have Put everything in this build that was hurt with shyvana's nerf. It really is a big nerf. And all the shyvana players out there must agree. This is the way to go now :) trust me.
Since this Build is still in construction, runes are not yet ready to be discussed.
-The current runes i am using are Attack Speed marks, Health per level Seals, Attack Speed Glyphs, and Attack Speed Quints.
These are not set in stone just temporary. These are currently needed because none of the items in this build grant any attack speed.
Now, These are very important. They revive Shyvana's durability and functionality. With the 17 hybrid points speced in Offence for max damage and the 13 points speced in Defense for the Durability, Shyvana will be able to deal her max amount of damage and stay in the fight.
Shyvana is pretty flexible when it comes to summoner spells.
I often like to use Smiteand Flash For Jungling.
With Dragon Form and Flash, Shyvana can escape almost any situation.
Ghosthas also Served me well for Catching people and running in and out of fights if needed.
Teleportis never bad especially if you are solo top. This build also works even if you are not jungling.
Exhaustcan be replaced with ghost if like the slow, it can be used as an escape ( not as reliable ) and overpowering over fed ad carries in the beginning of the game.
IgniteI would save ignite for you ap carries or anyone else who needs it to do max damage. You don't need this because you are shyvana! Without some sort of CC or speed ganking can be a headache.
Heal Heal is great for solo top in Twisted Treeline. I do not recommend it in classic or dominion.
This is an expensive build but does not have to be bought all at once to do decent damage and have great durability. Farming is a must, Jungling and pushing waves of minions is your main roll as shyvana and as a bonus you receive high amounts of CS! and CS = Gollddd
Claiming dragon and taking the opposing foes buffs is very important to your teams success.
With the fast movement speed from burnout and Boots of swiftness, Jungling should be a breeze. Also, if you are needed in a team fight you can rush to them quickly and save the day.
-Ensure your teams success by jungling.
-Control team fights (burnout).
-you are a dragon... half dragon
-Cooldown Reduction (Fast Burnout)
-Squishy early on
-Skill required to CC
-Only half dragon.
-Can be bullied out of team fights
Another very important Chapter to reviving Shyvana.
In the latest patch shyvana's Burnout was nerfed, Once lasting 9 seconds(max) now only lasts 7 seconds(max). It may not seem like much but it takes a huge chunk out of shyvana's damage. This means Less Speed, Less in your face, AND slower jungle speed. Yes, she can no longer jungle as fast as she once could but, ill talk about that later.
Wriggles Lanturn - Is a great utility, wards are amazing,armor,lifesteal....(amazing)
Boots of Swiftness- Great for the much needed map control and makes up for the -2 seconds off burnout. But mercury's treads and ninja tabi are also good options.
Hextech Gunblade- *IMPORTANT* This will be a huge CC for 1v1 situations or helping you team catch someone. The active: Unique: Deals 300 magic damage and slows the target champion by 50% for 3 seconds (700 range). 60 second cooldown. The ability power will help your burnout do the damage lost from the nerf.
Sunfire Cape- This will give Shyvana the much needed Health and will make up the damage for burnouts -2 seconds, Also the hp will convert into damage endgame with Atma's Impaler.
Rylai's Crystal Scepter- This has an amazing passive: Unique: Your spell damage will slow the target by 35% for 1.5 seconds (15% for multi-target spells, damage-over-time spells and spells with a cooldown time below 3 seconds). . This will allow you to catch people with your burnout and slow team fights to you advantage, Don't underestimate this. Also The Hp will make up for the missing magic resist and convert itself into damage endgame with Atma's Impaler.
Atma's Impaler- Finally, the last piece of the build. Now all the HP comes to good use with Atma's awesome passive: Unique: You gain attack damage equal to 2% of your maximum health The game will probably be over before you can actually get this item but with it you destroy. Good luck.
The Jungle - Routes/Know Your Roll
As we close up the build id like to talk about Shyvana's jungling capabilities and routes.
Know your Roll - You are shyvana, you are powerful, fast and furious. A little nerf wont put you down! Jungling is still a breeze and can be done quite fast. As a shyvana jungler you are not efficient at killing your enemies when you gank but you do throw some punches and do quiet alot of damage. You will be feared if you gank often. Which is needed to help your team secure towers more easily. Towers = money, money = items, items = GeeGee . SO learning when to gank is essential but will take practice. Note: make sure you have redbuff (your only CC early on) Review the Farming Chapter TO know your roll!
8)Golem BuffDont forget to gank at essential times. Also, Giving your mid blue will always be a good idea since you do not need it.
