Introduction - 3 v 3 Shyvanna
For the runes I chose the marks and quintessence that get me the attack damage for that pre-minion fight. I chose the armor seals because it gives you a chance to take some basic attacks in that first fight when everyone’s spell is on cd. Also, as a Shyvanna you will spend a lot of time running between minions and playing a little more on the aggressive side, so the extra armor helps. And as for the attack speed in the glyph spot it allows you to get your hits in sooner and reduce the cooldown on your Twin Bite.
The item build is where Shyvanna can get really fun. I recommend buying the basic boots and Doran’s shield off the bat. If you have a successful first team fight you should have enough money to go back and pick up a ruby crystal for health. I turn my crystal into Phage as soon as possible. Then I try and either get enough money to buy the giant’s belt for Frozen Mallet or get the gold per sec for the Pillager. For the boots it also depends on the build of the other team but I mostly go with merc treads or I get ninja tabi for more armor. With the item build I do not get a lot of damage early, once I have Phage I like to try and get health so I can utilize my attacks and get it to proc. If you have plenty of health and money you can buy a Black cleaver or infinity edge for really nice damage and then add a Wit’s End to deal it even quicker.
Level up burnout first since this gives you the most damage in that early fight, especially if you land hits and get it to last 4 seconds. It also allows you to run to the enemy altar bush if you like because you get a speed boost and it cost no mana. Maxing twin bite second will allow you to put out some really good damage especially early game. Getting a point in flame breath at level 4 will give you more variety and it gives the armor burn, but if you want you can level twin bite without this spell until a few levels on.
For spells I like to run either exhaust or ignite, and then flash. I will take exhaust if no one on my team has it and ignite if the other way around, your team should have at least one of each for the beginning fight. And I like to have flash because it can get you out of the fight and into the fight, sometimes a champ is running away and only a little health left, flash and use burnout to catch up.
Overall Shyvanna is a really nice champion to learn how to play and she can be very useful. In 3v3 try and be the leader for your team and become dominant in the early game, if all three of you can get grouped up in the bush you should be able to own the first fight just stick with your team. After the first fight try and get to the minions and get to level 2 for your Twin Bite as soon as you can for the next skirmish. See if your team won’t let your run top lane so you can get a good minion farm going and you will be unstoppable. Use your ult to tower dive or pull people off the altar, chase people down with your burnout, be conscious of your mini map and you can be a ganking machince. I hope this build helps you all, good luck and have fun!
