Singed is a strong top lane overall, he can zone enemies who are melee if you use your poison properly, is super tanky with very high damage and is truly a "Tanky DPS" which Riot tried to remove from the game.

The champions that Singed "counters" are any champion that requires auto attacks to be done from melee, preventing them from truly farming is quite easy if done so properly.

Although a bit mana hungry early on, you can carefully use your poison and deny farm without having to waste mana.

Pros: Really strong tank with high damage, scales with mana to HP which can effectively allow for a "Archangels Staff" to maximize his potential and dominate lanes, and even carry teams, best troll ever, can fling an ADC into your team, and just overall hard to harass / kill.

Cons: Mana hungry, Sort-of weak Early game, kite-able, no escape.

Of course if you're reading this, you don't EXACTLY follow this build.

There are somethings that can be changed for a better situation, say the enemy team has a lot of physical damage, you may want to get Ninja Tabi instead of Merc Treads, or instead of getting a "Archangels" you may need to get a Aegis of Legion if you're the sole tank, etc etc.

Singed is someone that CANNOT be ignored, and overall is someone that the enemy team may hard CC / focus to get out of the way because of how annoying his damage is as a tank.

Although he is nuisance, there are ways to counter him: Kiting, Slows, Hard CC, ranged poke, and just ranged champions in general.
