Introduction

Volibear is an OP ganking jungle champion. With his throw back and a decent stun the gank goes amazingly well. He is an incredibly tanky champion and can buildmassive amounts of HP and still have better damage than some champions.

Items

Hunter's Machete to help clear jungle early game it is crucial to get to level 3 AS FAST AS POSSIBLE. Health pots to make sure your passive doesnt pop until you actually need it. On your way back pick up Madreds Razors for faster jungle clears and some armor if you really need it buy more health pots. Hopefully you will have set up ganks and are able to go back and get tier 1 boots and possibly tier 2 boots. Boots of mobility in my opinion are the best mixed with your Q I can still catch people when they flash. Kindlegem to start the locket it helps the cooldown when you miss your Q and it helps with bite by adding a little damage. Locket of the Iron Solari is amazing for team fights it can determine if you win or not by the shield it provides when activated. Phage is the start of your frozen mallet I think frozen mallet is good for the health it gives you and when you need to auto attack for your bite to be activated. Warmogs is purely for survivability and for your bite. Wardens mail is for the start of the Randuins Omen the slow that Randuins passive and active gives out is harsh on any attack speed dependant champion.

Skill Sequence

Volibears throw back is the best for ganks even if the enemy flashes you still have a chance to catch him and with the tankiness that you are at level 5 or 6 you can tank a few turret hits. While your laner gets the kill and becomes fed. I prefer to run out of the bush a little bit and then start running towards him. After he is thrown back immediately slow him with your Roar and by then you should be able to have your bite up and bite him by then if he hasn't run all the way to the turret your mid top or bot adc should have got him killed.

Creeping / Jungling

When jungling with volibear start with wolves first then head to blue, wraiths, golems, red, by then you should be level 3 and can start ganking lanes. Volibear doesn't need blue first if you have a mana hungry mid laner you can give him blue but just be careful because when your jungle early level and your passive procs thats bad.
