Actually Sona has great AP ratios.

But one thing I noticed as I scrolled down was that this is "ranked high ELO" and if you look at the screen shot... ¬_¬ this doesn't seem to be the case.

Nice build and explanations. Don't like the randuin's because there's no way I would let myself be in a position to use it as Sona. Also don't like the spirit visage. The heal increase is insignificant. Just wanted to know what you thought of archangels.

The screenshot was more for the few deaths + good asists , im finding most games in ending 2-4 deaths and 25+ assists now.
I have however played with the build quite a bit over the last 2 days.
I now always get the rabadons for the extra AP , im also using AP seals instead of Cooldown as my items give so much cooldown.

Basactly classic build is looking :

Mercury treads > Shurelyas Revire > Will of anicents > Rabadons.

Sometimes i stay in lane so long i can go straight for rabadons as first item (or atleast the large rod) also im in love with will of anicents , the Spell vamp you get from the revolver on your Q spell heals as much as my W spell lol.

Il update the build shortly , but thanks for the comments im generaly trying to become a better Sona ^_^

Full support Sona relies on being with a ranged carry bottom lane, allowing them to get all the last hits. You NEED gold per 5 items (and arguably quints) to sustain that kind of playstyle; you should be getting next to no last hits of champion kills. Otherwise, a reasonable build, but I wouldn't take Spirit Visage, it doesn't strike me as that useful - late game you're either healing up quick enough or burst to death instantly. 10% more healing is almost never going to save you, and more AP might save your whole team. I can't decide if you deserve a +1, so I'm not gonna rate. Give it some work :)

Getting Aegis that late isnt pretty useful, because your Aria of Perseverance is actually better than that. aegis is good early game and sona has aura's that take care of that so you should leave it for tank. Also Sona without ap --> 175 heal at lvl5, it's just sad. Shurelya's Reverie and Soul Shroud are both nice items, but without AP not too useful because even if you can spam heal your heals are just simply too low.
Also with your runes and Spirit Visage you overexceed CDR. Sona doesnt need that much HP because you should position yourself in the back and concentrate on healing your allies.
Since you don't build AP for better heal you should at least max out heal first, leaving Hymn of Valor at lvl 1 or lvl2 max, because Sona's heal is just sad without some AP boost.

Wow -2 votes already and no comments ? grow a pair and please tell me why you rate this build so low. I mean you can see from my screenshot that it works. Id like to hear what was wrong with it or if infact you even used it first before voting...
