Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
This build is a great support/attack build. It is based on the idea that you are to be in as many group fights as possible, always supporting, and always helping in both attack and defense. By getting all three stances as soon as possible, you can begin stance-dancing whenever you need to, and whenever you have the available mana.
Start off by getting your sapphire crystal. The extra mana at the beginning of the game will be crucial in dancing at the beginning, and it will be used in building your innervating locket. With your crystal in tow, choose a lane with a partner you can trust, and try and harass as much as you can, while staying back to make sure you don't get squashed. When you have the money, time, and celeraty, head back to base to buy your starting boots and Mejai's Soulstealer. IF you have enough money for the Sorcerer's Shoes, great, but go to the shop as soon as you can afford Mejai's.
Once you have Mejai's, you want to start getting as many kills and assists as possible to start building the stacks. With your stance dancing, it should be easy to get the assists, and as Mejai's gets better, so will you. Next on your shopping list will be Innervating Locket, and Sheen, which will work into your Lich Bane. Innervating Locket is perfect for you, as you will be casting spells almost constantly, which will give allies mana and health, and the constant aura will be added to your other constant auras. Lich Bane corresponds with your passive skill. Every 3 abilities, you deal extra damage with your auto attack, and with Lich Bane adding your AP to every attack after a skill, the damage is even bigger. If you've got stance dancing happening almost constantly, almost every auto-attack should have extra AP damage.
The final phase will have you building Archangel's Staff and Zhonya's Ring. Archangel's Staff is great for the AP and the mana, but if you find you are able to keep your max mana up with Innervating Locket and Clarity cycles, you can always opp for a more powerful AP bonus, or getting Zhonya's Ring sooner. Zhonya's Ring has great stats and a perfect active for you. As you get stronger and Mejai's gains charges, your enemies will want to target you first and take advantage of your squishiness. If you happen to get separated from the rest of your team, Zhonya's protection can mean the difference between an easy gank, to your team coming to the rescue.
Hopefully this build works as well for you as it does for me. It is the first build I have made, and I hope you like it. I will possibly come back and update this later on, maybe add some different tweaks as new items come out and change game play.
