Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Laning: (1-6) Preferaby start out with a heavy caster, or other high dps champ that can harrass well. Start out with a Amplifying Tome only, and use smite every time it is up. Your main goals are to support their harrassment and pushing, while at the same time farming successfully. Your first trip back should be as soon as you get 330 gold to pick up your first Kage's Lucky Pick (Teleport back so you dont miss out on exp). The second you have enough gold return to get another Kage's Pick, and basic boots (Should be no longer than 5 mins into the game) do it. With this setup you can now successfully farm out very important items and easily support your lane mate.
Mid Game: Soon as you have your Rod of Ages and a Mejia's Soulstealer, you're good to start team pushing. Things to watch out for are stealths(Oracle WILL be needed if they are decent), Urgot, Warwick, and basically any champ that can successfully execute you while you hide behind your team. The less you die the better, especially when you get a soulstealer. Assists should fill it out very quickly if your team is playing right.
Late Game: Now the fun starts. You should be really close to having all of your items around 35 mins - 1 hour in if you consistenly kill minions with smite and hold onto your picks as long as you can before you replace them. Your heals are now filling a dying tanks health full, basically no matter what...and on a VERY low cd(Keeping blue buff really helps your already rediculously low cd's). Deathfire grasp hurts...in a "What we have a Veigar!?" kind of way. If you are focus fired(which you will be, they will hate you soooo much late game), be SURE to pop Zhonya's before you get past half life. This will allow your heal to get off cd, and give your team a few seconds to wail on the enemy team for free.
Hope you guys enjoy, my first build :)
