Introduction
for the runes i put 5 points into the offensive category, for a little shabam, catastrophic damage at catastrophic peaks. i put the first three points into cripple so that whenever i attack i am able to reduce the target's armor and magic armor by 10. i put the other two points into deadliness for more deadliness towards enemies. the last point is put into archmage's savvy for that magical umph needed to take down cocky enemies. for the rest of the 26 points, i put them all into random defense and one into haste so i am able to run faster.
for the masteries, i buy stamina regen so that soraka can run for a longer amount of time without getting tired. stamina also allows soraka to attack for a longer amount of time without having to recharge. for the rest of the runes i buy magic regen so i can spam my heal on myself because im very squishy, even though soraka is usually supposed to hug the turret until about level 12.
for the items i like to get a thornmail so that if anyone tries to attack me they will see they will also get hurt and so they avoid me, which allows me to kill turrets very efficiently. next, i get a banshees veil because of the magic protection, so basically, im an immortal goddess because i have physical protection and magical protection. the third item i get is a phantom dancer. a phantom dancer is a necessity for soraka because she attacks particularily slow and her magic attacks don't do much damage at all. for the fourth item i get another phantom dancer because my philosophy is, the more i attack the less damage i need, also, i wont get tired from attacking so much thanks to my stamina regen runes. for the fifth item i get a vampiric cepter for the healing because soraka's healing is very weak. the last item i get is another phantom dancer for that extra attack speed, which is a must for soraka, it also allows her to run faster which will be good for when you see an enemy with a big nasty sack of swords.
