AND warmogs makes u much weaker to madreds and hp% damaging abilities.
I played with a cho that got warmogs but the enemies were ashe and ww with madreds and mundo they completely destroyed him with madreds + cleavers
Plus cho's passive gives him health back when you kill something..
I love this build! (except for the shoes which i exchange for swiftness because i am a harassing junkie xD)
This build is truly what chogath does! awesome caster + HP!
I actually made a hybrid build too and i did post it here.. but screw it! this one is for mid, and it is pure awesome!
Sorc boots just aren't fast enough. Extra pen is nice, but I'd rather have movespeed any day of the week with Cho. 20 extra damage on a Rupture is alright, but I'd rather have improved movement 5 for chasing and escaping. Hit a rupture and you'll be out of combat long enough for it to activate, and then you're gone.
The reason you take cleanse over ghost is because you're mid. Ashe is going to be there. Ignite is going to be there. Ghost won't help you when you're stunned or ignited, and cleanse will. It also lets you escape from other situations, like Warwick's ult or any sort of stun.
You shouldn't be dying with this build. If you are, you're being too aggressive too early. Make sure your team doesn't initiate without you, because you're the second initiator. Rupture on a stunned champion will usually net your team a kill straight off the bat. Get in there and auto attack, but don't lose more than half of your HP. Your ruptures, screams and feasts do way more damage and are much more crucial to hit than any amount of auto-attack. I told you, you're a caster until late game where you can pretty much 5v1, kill a champ with rupture scream feast and still manage to get out with a reasonable amount of life.
Of course, just because you might be able to 5v1 doesn't mean you ever should. Unless your team is like, backdooring or something. Tank Cho is nice, but Tank Cho rarely ever singlehandedly wins you a game. That's the great thing about this build, if you do it right you'll be so dangerous that they either focus you forever and let your team kill them or let you walk around hitting rupture/scream/feast combos all day long. Tank Cho is huge and disruptive but not dangerous. Carry Cho is all of the above.
I will say, though, tank cho is WAY easier to play and is probably the better option for 90% of the players out there, especially ones who don't really understand the ELO metagame well. If you see characters like Tryndamere, Evelyn, Veigar, Teemo or Twitch in your games a lot, you should probably just go tank, MF-style, until you start playing better players.
