I whould get talisman of ascension though, since Frost Queen's Claim is only good for some high AP scaling champ(and most of their abilities must scale with AP too, IMO) and Talisman's CDR and Speed Active is better than Frost Queen's, since you already have 2 slows :p

I thought about that too, would you upgrade it though? Or would you get a Talisman of Ascension for greater CDR and active? I just hate to have an active that does the ONLY thing that Ashe support already does: slow.

you have to do this:

there are no other viable ways to play support ashe.

Going to try that next. Thanks for the video.

Hawkshot negates all need for Clairvoyance.

You can have both. You could scout Blue buff for example (if I you are on blue side) and help the jungler steal it. You can also do the same with the Red buff, Baron, or maybe an early invade since trinkets have longer cooldowns. Clairvoyance is global, Hawkshot is not. Nevertheless, the guide has been changed, Clairvoyance is now another option, but my recommended spells are Exhaust and maybe Ignite if you are going for the kill lane.

I will edit my previous comments so it makes more sense. If you look at the rest of the guide you will notice that I am always talking about vision and no mana regen.

If you plan on playing Ashe support, whatever, Runaan's Hurricane and Black Cleaver aren't great choices. You can build typical AD/Crit item after you got your support core items but, whatever, and so running AD Runes and Masteries (at least 9 points in offense) might be helpful or you focus more on the utility in build and Runes + Masteries, whatever.
What about Spellthief's Edge? I guess it would work perfectly :D

It's true, I've been testing the build and it's super fun but you do not deal a lot of damage late game. I will try more offensive maestries and see how that works.

I don't know about Spellthief's Edge. Yes, it provides superior gold generation for the proposed style of play but what about the wasted AP? Also, I do like the active utility that Talisman of Ascension provides over the slow from Frost Queen's Claim. I also like the 20% CDR... Do you think it's worth it?

Clarity is a spell intended for pre-level 30s who don't have access to runes and masteries, as well as being unaware of how to manage their mana. It should never ever be suggested as an option in a serious guide.

Which is why I downvote.

Greater Quintessence of Gold became very useless in this season as there are new gold income items and Gold Quints is very bad at Late Game when you got your full item, you should either get Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage or Greater Quintessence of Health.

As for the spells, why would you take Clarity? You need to explain as if you know, just put a single Clarity will make everybody flame/rage at you.

Other Options, you should add Flash and Ignite if you want to have a more killing lane.

Hi EdisonKhoo, thanks for taking the time and looking at my guide.

I understand your point and I think it's very valid. I will change the Quints to Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage.

Here is what the guide shows now, let me know what you think:

Quoted:

Quints

Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage will amplify your auto-attack harass the most in the laning phase. I previously recommended Greater Quintessence of Gold but they seem to fall off late-game, Attack damage stays relevant during the whole game.

In regards to Clairvoyance: It was not well explained, I like to go with Clairvoyance and sometimes skip the Sightstone and use Clairvoyance + Hawkshot when my lane is pushed. I know this is not ideal, but hey it's support Ashe. Not to mention that I also buy pinks to cover specific places (dragon, tri-bush, river bush, etc.).

I will make Exhaust the recommended option and add Clairvoyance as an option. I will also add Ignite as you pointed out.

Thanks again for your comments :)

Just the right amount of O's, ha...

Edit: When I created the guide I selected the wrong summoner blue icon. I mean to select Clairvoyance, not Clarity. That should explain everything.
