Introduction

Hello. I go by the name buddy Badger. There are basically NO legit Kayle Support guides out on the interwebs, being a HUGE Kayle-fan - I decided to make one myself. This is my first guide and i don't claim that this guide is perfect by any means. Feel free to leave suggestions on how I should improve/change my guide.

Runes

I run these runes on every support, i've tried a few different rune-setups and found this the most enjoyable.

Reds: Flat Armor - 90 percent of the bot-lane damage is AD.
Yellows: Mana regeneration per level - Sucks to recall cause of mana problems.
Blues: Cooldown Reduction per level - Your heal has a quite long cooldown, this will help you keep up the sustain.
Quints: +1 gold / 10 sec - Standard for support.

Masteries

I run 0/3/27 on almost all support champions, just cause the utility tree is soooooo support-friendly after the change. This is probably not the best support-masteries at all, but it's what i found really comfortable.

Items

Start with standard money items, then transition into aura-items - depending on how strong the AP/AD is on the opposite team. I make sure to grab wards on EVERY recall (Especially in solo queue). Also make sure to grab pink wards/oracle early to make it really easy for your jungler to gank your lane, every time I do this - kill secured.

Skill Sequence

I like starting with Q for the early harrass and slow for a possible early gank.
I grab W in lvl 2 for the sustain and max it first.
I'm also getting E in lvl 3 IF i got brush control for the very sexy kayle-harrass.

I upgrade ulti every possible time cause (in my opinion), this is the best spell in the game.

Summoner Spells

I use Flash and Clairvoyance on every support champion.

Pros / Cons

Pros: "Ok" sustain, movement speed for your laning partner, slow for enemies, awesome harrass with E, your passive reduces MR/Armor on enemies, ulti saves kills under turret, YOU'RE A SHINY GOLDEN ANGEL WTF.

Cons: Long CD on heal, have to stick to your target to remove a decent amount of Armor/MR, short duration on ulti, not as good as your every day support if played wrong.

Which lane do I go to and what the hell do I do there?

Go to the BOTTOM lane with (preferably) an AD carry, your job as a support is to make your carry as crazy as possible, leave him the creep farm, heal him when needed, CC your enemies, ward your lane to avoid ganks and just simply be an guardian angel.

In my experience the best champion to lane with as Kayle Support is....KOG'MAW.
Reason you say? Well, Kog has NO mobility abilities, with kayle you can give him movement speed AND slow your enemies which gives him the range he need to go "ape****" on them. You also reduce your targets armor/magic resist, making Kog'Maw's damage even more beastly.

Kog'Maw is also a VERY squishy champion and will often get focused, this is when your Kayle-ult gets it's glory. A fed Kog'Maw could easily burst 1 or 2 enemies to veeeery low health without any disturbance if you use your Kayle ult at a nice timing.

Now, don't get me wrong you DO NOT HAVE TO lane with a Kog'Maw for Kayle Support to work, but it's the champion i feel most comfortable with after my experience, other AD carries are also very good with Kayle for example; Vayne, Urgot, Miss Fortune.

Summary

Even though Kayle is not played a lot, and even less played as support - this my favorite champion and i hope this guide has helped you few proud Kayle supports out there.

At the very last, I would like to give a shoutout to my team "buddy" on EU - Nordic/East.
