My opinion to this guide:
Thanks for all the suggestions! I'll definitely re-look at some of the things I've been using. (:
1.your choosen runes are completly wrong. If you would choose Greater Seal of Scaling Mana Regeneration and Greater Glyph of Ability Power, you would have way more manaregen at level 18 and around 3 more AP at the start of the game (not much, but why would you use the worse runes?).
2. Your itemchoice is really weird. You start with a Faerie Charm, but decide to rush for a Mejai's Soulstealer first. You completly ignore the fact that you are a support, who is not able to get THAT much farm and assists, especially not with Soraka. This hero is a pretty passive support, so usually there won't be that much kills on a lane with soraka. Of course Mejai's Soulstealer is pretty nice with Wish, but not really cost efficient. In my eyes it would be a way better choice when you get Philosopher's Stone first and Kage's lucky Pick as second items. With two golditems you have a decent income and you can go for other items.
Mejai's Soulstealer also is a pretty situational item. It only pays off when your lane is winning hard, otherwise you will really struggle to use its potential to the fullest, because once you die, 1/3rd of your stacks will just disappear. There are better and safer ways to invest 800 gold.
Will of the Ancients is a really strange itemchoice aswell, but if you are playing in a AP-heavy teamcomposition, then i can understand this itemchoice on a support, but well, most of the Casters, especially the ones who are playing on the toplane will get Will of the Ancients anyway.
"I don't use the active on Deathfire much" <-- The active is basically the reason why you get this item. you will have around 500 AP with your build, means you nuke down a enemy for around 45% of his current health. Wasted money if you don't use it.
It is a okish guide for the first guide you wrote, but please: make sure you are using the best runes possible etc ;)
