The thing with Sol is that you need to roam and help other lanes not necessarily with the low damage you have early but with the q stun and exhaust. As you start of with corrupting potion you will not be able to very easily kill your lane opponent, but once you hit level 6 and have dark seal I find it not very hard to kill your opponent as soon as you get back to lane with E and with exhaust ready. Yes the damage is generally quite low early but it compensates late, there are other builds with rod of ages and this makes the damage come even later that's why you will want the Hextech GLP-800. Being patient is the key to Aurelion and knowing when to pick your fights.
