Hello guys! Many people are probably wondering... WTF DO I DO WITH SYNDRA????
Well, I'm here to give you a little bit of tools for you to use to be a great Syndra player!
Bursts like a boss
Sustains well in lane if you don't get hit ;)
You can't just pick up the champ.
A tad slow.
Doesn't Sustain well without items.
Mana is shot out of the ***.
Why I chose my Items..
I chose these items because they give Syndra the opportunity to survive and stay in lane fights and team fights. I chose boots at the start because Syndra needs some movement speed to be able to hit those Dark Spheres constantly, because as Syndra, that's what you do. I then get a Catalyst the Protector because it helps you sustain in lane so you can harass more and get your farm up. I then chose Chalice of Harmony because you tend to run low on mana with Syndra so its a great help in lane, plus it gives you some magic resist as well! I then take Sorcerer Boots because this will give me extra damage with more penetration and gives me more movement speed to harass even more. I then get a rod of ages to become less squishy and get some ap from that. I then get a Hextech Revolver because it will reward you for harassing your opponent with more sustain with the spell vamp. I then get a Death Cap because Syndra needs that boost of damage in mid/late game. Then I finish off my chalice and buy an Unholy Grail so in team fights when we get kills I will be rewarded with bonus mana. It also gives AP and a bit more MR so its a nice thing to keep. I then finish off the revolver with a Will of the Ancients. This gives a good boost of spell vamp and ap which is always wanted. Finally I finish off with a void staff for that 50% magic pent + my runes and boots.
I chose these runes because they make it a living hell for another ap champ in mid to versus you. The mana runes sustains your constant mana drains, the MR makes it so the enemy does less damage with spells, magic pent is to hurt your enemy though some of their MR, and the AP runes are for doing more damage early game.
I chose flash and ignite because they are helpful to finish down an enemy or hop over walls to get away from the enemy.
I chose to max Q first then my W and lastly my E. I get my R whenever I can.
I do these to maximize harassment and to burst the enemy down.
I chose these masteries so early game farming is easier, more mana regen at the start, and just more damage to pump out at the enemy.
Farm the liviing hell out of every minion in site! Make sure you punish your opponent by not letting them farm! When they go for a minion kill, orb them.
