I love playing this build, I play much better with this than the top rated one. Good job!

Awesome guide! I'm a new player to the game and play Ashe the most. I've read a lot of Ashe guides, but yours is by far the best I've read yet. I love the explanations about everything, and already I'm playing much better than I was before reading this-thanks a lot :)

Good guide but max damage build is lying! You have Guardian Angel:)

Ok, I'll take your advice. Soon after my guide was published it got like 3 downvotes in a row and I couldn't tell if it had been troll voted or people actually didn't like it since nobody bothered to comment. But by that time it was down to like 63% and I figured it had been downvoted into oblivion so I didn't really care -- I hadn't checked my guide in awhile and was pleased to see today that it had made a slight comeback, so I'll be sure to turn comment to vote on now.

On the runes, I split up the yellows since I did testing and found that in the majority of games I would only need 4 mana regen runes, as long as I didn't use Volley unnecessarily. I also don't get cooldown runes since I don't think the CDR they offer is that substantial. IMO +24 MR late game helps out a lot more, especially if one didn't op for Merc Treads.

On the BC vs LW, why is BC so bad? The armor pen is equivalent at 113 armor (if I did my maths correct(and after BC has reached 3 stacks)), and while BC is like 600 gold more it offers +15 more AD and 30% more AS. On top of that, it reduces the armor of the champion for the rest of your team, unlike LW which just lowers an enemy's armor solely for you. Late game, an enemy bruiser/offtanky/support champ will have ~150 armor -- which, afaik and from what I've read, results in roughly the same DPS from both LW and BC, not including additional damage from other AD teammates. IMO, the extra ~600 gold is definitely worth it for the support-esque armor reduction that comes with BC. Furthermore, enemy carries will be obliterated if you have BC instead of LW -- at late game, assuming an enemy carry has 1 main defensive item, their armor will be at around the low 100s. This puts LW and BC on the same page just on armor pen/reduction, even before factoring in BCs extra stats.

LW definitely has its place though, especially since it is cheaper. With the current meta of support/ranged AD bot lane, the carrying role is more emphasized on the solo laners, who will make better use of the hyper carry items with the additional gold and levels. ~600 gold isn't really that paltry of a sum.

Thanks for your input, I know you're like some mobafire legend so I was slightly surprised when I saw you had commented.

+1 (turn comment to vote on). I'd suggest making sure you know absolutely what you're talking about (Black Cleaver is actually not very good on Ashe, I promise), and to consider having another look at your runes, as I do not believe them to be of an optimal set-up.

Great descriptive guide, though :)

Poinears, I wish I knew someone who was that good at Blitz to get me fed repeatedly haha. But yes, Blitz isn't really a support champ and is maybe better suited as solo top.

The thing is that Blitzcrank is viable not only as AP and/or AD, but also as a tank. As an AP or AD champ, he is an incredible solo top. However, as a tank, he has almost no damage output and relies on others to get assists.

If you have friends that play, refer them to my Blitz guide "Tanky Blitz Fed Carry" for the particular play style for a tank Blitz duo laning with a carry.

Vishnu, Ashe is more DPS and doesn't really need the cooldown. CDR is important for the arrow but there isn't really any room in the build. Also, Volley scales with AD and AP, so the extra AP is really only good for the arrow, since you otherwise could have gotten a damage item. In addition, if you got Nashor's it would have to be late game and the arrow doesn't really do much damage then since champs have will have built MR by then and the arrow is more used for the stun.

Also, if you downvoted please tell me what you don't like about the guide and I'll try to address it.

Exceptional guide, very well written. I do have a question; would say or maybe even a help with CDR so more can be fired? I know Nashor's may be a bit too pricey, even if the AP helps.

What are your thoughts?

Another great lane partner (not quite as viable because of a lack of heal) is Blitzcrank, particularly if he is going tank. My friend and I will do this all the time when I play Blitz and I just feed him repeated kills, since I can Rocket Grab enemies into the turret.

Great guide, but I'll stick with my own build...everybody seems to criticize it but nobody's tried it.

eh i'd really go for alistar because he has pretty good cc and healing. Taric is pretty tanky but i don't see the synergy as much.
