I really enjoyed reading this guide. Glad to know there are still people sticking with the classic champs like ashe. We old folk gotta stick together. Now about your build. I really think that hawk shot should be the second ability due to the constant possibility of level 2 jungler ganks. When you play ranked like me, this happens ALL the time. As for the items, i think a health potion or two would not hurt early in the game. You can get harassed pretty hard by champs when ur laning mid. Also, you don't really explain the elixirs in the end. Why get them when you have other much more powerful alternatives (esp. with new patch). If you wanna really play squishy a ninja tabi may be the better choice.

I'm glad you liked my guide. Haha yeah, Ashe is a classic champ and has been around for awhile. I appreciate your comment.

As for level 2 Hawkshot, it can be a good choice. Level two ganks can be a problem, but they usually occur when the enemy jungler has started at red. Most often junglers will start at blue and go on their usual jungling route. As low level Ashe you should be playing safe in the beginning, and should usually be safe from level 2 ganks. However, if their jungler is a Yi or an Olaf than you may need to be careful. If the enemy jungler isn't ganking you, Frost shot can help with a kill, if you didn't get first blood at level 1.

As for boots and health potions, I went over this in my guide. It's really a matter of preference, and I prefer to go Doran's. Ashe shouldn't go mid, since she can't really go against a LeBlanc or Malzahar.

As for ninja tabi, I went over this too. Ashe really needs MR more than armor.

For your other comments, I'm not really sure what you meant. I would love to hear more.

Do you think Ashe pairs with Taric or Alistar better?

They are both excellent lane choices, but as to which is better I don't really know. They're both great.

eh i'd really go for alistar because he has pretty good cc and healing. Taric is pretty tanky but i don't see the synergy as much.

Another great lane partner (not quite as viable because of a lack of heal) is Blitzcrank, particularly if he is going tank. My friend and I will do this all the time when I play Blitz and I just feed him repeated kills, since I can Rocket Grab enemies into the turret.

Great guide, but I'll stick with my own build...everybody seems to criticize it but nobody's tried it.

Exceptional guide, very well written. I do have a question; would say or maybe even a help with CDR so more can be fired? I know Nashor's may be a bit too pricey, even if the AP helps.

What are your thoughts?

Poinears, I wish I knew someone who was that good at Blitz to get me fed repeatedly haha. But yes, Blitz isn't really a support champ and is maybe better suited as solo top.

Vishnu, Ashe is more DPS and doesn't really need the cooldown. CDR is important for the arrow but there isn't really any room in the build. Also, Volley scales with AD and AP, so the extra AP is really only good for the arrow, since you otherwise could have gotten a damage item. In addition, if you got Nashor's it would have to be late game and the arrow doesn't really do much damage then since champs have will have built MR by then and the arrow is more used for the stun.

Also, if you downvoted please tell me what you don't like about the guide and I'll try to address it.

The thing is that Blitzcrank is viable not only as AP and/or AD, but also as a tank. As an AP or AD champ, he is an incredible solo top. However, as a tank, he has almost no damage output and relies on others to get assists.

If you have friends that play, refer them to my Blitz guide "Tanky Blitz Fed Carry" for the particular play style for a tank Blitz duo laning with a carry.

+1 (turn comment to vote on). I'd suggest making sure you know absolutely what you're talking about (Black Cleaver is actually not very good on Ashe, I promise), and to consider having another look at your runes, as I do not believe them to be of an optimal set-up.

Great descriptive guide, though :)
