Introduction

Hello, I'm Victir, this is my first guide ever. Any tips or advice is welcomed :)

This is my personal build that I use for Talon.

This guide is a little on the expensive side, but it really does pay for itself.

Runes

Armor Pen Marks
Armor Pen Quints
Armor Per Level Seals
Magic Resist Per Level Glyphs

Armor Pen explains itself.
I go with the per level defense instead of flats because I like my late-game to be stronger. By time you reach level 18 you already have 100 to each resistance. In my opinion that's a lot better than the early game buff.

Also by time you reach level 10 the per level runes break even with the flats. I don't know any game that doesn't go past level 10.

Masteries

21/0/9
If you are a lower level make sure you get the points in exhaust and armor pen, and switch over to utility and get the experience gain.

summoner's

Flash and Exhaust are what I use.
flash is great for the quick escape or the quick turret dive. ALWAYS GET FLASH
Exhuast goes perfectly with your passive. 10% more damage and with the mastery point you drop their defense too.

Abilities

Sometimes it's better to run in rather than bolting to your target with E.
If you're fighting a champion with a blink or flash you should save it for after they flash.
When you use your ultimate single target run ahead of them and call the blades back.
If you use your ultimate in a team fight try to use W on the group and then get into the middle and try to hit as many as you can with your ult.

Items

Doran's for the early damage
Merc treads to get out of CC fast, and help with your defense
Frozen mallet for the slow to always have your passive on your target
Tri force for the sheen effect, on top of all of the other helpful stats.
(I know the AP on it is useless but the mana does help)
Atma's Talon already has pretty high base health. Atma's fits perfectly with his build.
Warmoggs for the health and regen to go with atma's. The regen helps a lot so that you don't need lifesteal.
Infinity edge damage crit crit damage. What more could you want??

Summary

Like I mentioned before, this is my first guide.
I love this build, everyone should try it.
Any tips and comments would be awesome.
:) Have fun! :)

Battle Strategies

Use your Rake to harass. Try to just hit champions so you don't overextend.
Once you have all three spells you can start some serious harass. Open with E (unless they have flash or a champion spell for pushback) Use exhaust once you KNOW they have no escape methods left. you want to get as many spells off AFTER they are slowed. So Rake has to go first before spells.
Refer to Spells chapter for spell usage.
