Introduction

Just a quick simple guide to how I play Talon, this build will give you a lot of damage early game and make you tanky late game while still maintaining high damage output

Runes

My rune choices are pretty simple, the marks and quints are great mixed with brutalizer early, it will get through champions entire armor if they haven't built too tanky early game, which will give you massive damage output.

The health per level seals help you be a little bit more tankier mid game before you start getting your tanky items, can be replaced with your personal choice such as flat armor, or attack speed are surprisingly good alternatives if you want more damage output

Again the flat cooldown glpyhs are personal choice, you can really have anything you want, Talon's cooldowns are heavy so I like to have flat cooldown reduction, mixed with brutalizer it just makes you a lot more efficient and can get you back into fights faster

Items

I pick up boots first just to keep me sustained with the health pots during lane phase and to hopefully get off some aggro damage as a lot of champions start with Doran's items now, it will allow you to trade damage and still come out on top, try not to go back before being able to get a brutalizer.

Once you get the brutalizer and sheen your damage should be MASSIVE early game, just keep staying in lane, buying more health pots and wards if needed.

I like getting boots of ionian boots over berserker as I've experimented with both and they just seem to have more damage output. If their team has a lot of CC or mages, replace them with Mercury threads.

I get the infinity edge as it works well with ghostblade and really helps you maintain your high damage throughout late game

Frozen mallet should be simple, it helps you 100% proc off your massive giving you a constant 10% increased damage, gives you a little extra base damage, better for chasing, and still makes you EXTREMELY tanky with the massive health increase, perfect item for this stage

And finally I finish off with a banshees because it just makes your life a whole lot easier once it gets late game and people start one hitting everywhere

Skill Sequence

I've experimented with upgrading Q first in a few matches, and W by far gives you better benefits. I upgrade Q second as I prefer having full out damage as early as possible to help me snowball, however if you're struggling with castors upgrading E wouldn't be a bad idea

Summoner Spells

This is all really down to what you want, I see flash as a MUST on everyone, as it just offers so much utility, can be used in so many situations.

I like using exhaust aswell as ghost doesn't proc off your passive and it can be used defensively, also, using CC to slow is a lot more effective than chasing on anyone, I find it a lot more useful, but if you don't like it, replacing it wouldn't be too big
