Jesus, I got to late game with this build and wrecked everyone. 910AP at full hp. I was 2 shotting people with DFG>R>W. Insane damage. I had a DFG, Athenes, Rabs, Soulstealer, Void Staff, and Sorcs. too good man, 42-0-16. gg xD

Nah, I play on the NA server.
I'm not saying Talon vs. Karma that Karma will win instantly.
I played Talon a few, and I know when Talon players want to jump in for the all skills burst. And that's if you wait for him to get to lv 6 to use them.
Playing against Talon all depends on lv 1-3. At level 1, I would harass quick with Heavenly wave.
If he decides to use blink or that slow skill(sorry I don't know specific names), I would stick around to use mantra and another Heavenly wave and heal myself.
If you lose trades with Talon at that level, then I would change up my tactics and max my shield first.
Use mantra and shield a creep will make him think twice to walk in for a last hit.
Then once level 4-6 comes I will just start farming because that's when jungles like to gank and where Talon starts to shine.
It all depends on the player. Just because you pick Karma doesn't mean she shuts down Talon automatically.

Yeah, I haven't really thought about the masteries, haven't touched them for a while, really.

Hmm, you seem to think of Karma as a counter to Talon... Oh boy, if only you were on EUW, I would smack some sense into you. :(

The build is good, and the guide looks decent. I don't play Karma but I do play AP carries. The only problem I have with it is that you take 2 points in Havoc . Say you're dealing 300 damage. 1% of 300 is 3 so... you're only dealing 3 extra damage. Even Butcher is more helpful than Havoc , I recommend you take that. But the rest is good, so +1 anyway.

Do you have an account on EUW by any chance by the way? If you do it would be nice to test out this Karma - Talon matchup, as I can't really imagine Talon losing it. :P

1 quick tip after looking ur build; 45% CDR, max is 40% so u have 5% extra somewhere :p

Nicely Written... But here's a tip... Whenever you're mentioning the Summoner spells... You wrote it out like this:
Ghost, in my opinion is not as useful as flash because Karma already has a speed boost/slow.

Try a new coding like >>
