Twin disciplines:
Akali's passive is what makes her a viable hybrid. She gains bonus magic damage from AP and spell vamp from AD. With the runes I suggested to you and a Amplifying tome, both Passives will be activated at level 1.
Mark of the Assassin:
Akali's main damage ability. This skill can cause MASSIVE damage to a target, especially early game with my build. This is what you're going to be using to pull off that epic dps.
Twilight Shroud:
Just a nice escaping skill. Be aware that AoE still hits you, and when the enemys have invis wards/ oracles the shroued will be almost useless. The slow is nice when chasing or getting away.
Crescent Slash:
This skill is a moderate aoe spell that is good to help sustain dps while your Q is on cooldown. This is also a very nice farming tool.
Shadow Dance (Ult):
Akali's ultimate is what defines her. You can do so many things with this ability. Start off a surprise gank with it, last hit that about to die creep, chase and kill steal like a pro, burst with surplus charges, and most importantly, juke. Does a surprisingly large amount of magic damage.

Hopefully you have farmed up/got 1 kill :). Once you have 1200+ gold , head back and buyNormal Boots andSheen
You should gank mid and top/bottom lane. Hopefully you got a kill or 2. If not just farm creeps or in jungle. Once you have enough gold, go back and buyGiants Belt andAmplifying Tome.

Take Mark of the Assassin 1st because it is ur main damaging skill.
At level 2, take Twilight Shroud so you can out-zone your enemies. Well, most of them.
Level 3 take Mark of the Assassin again.
Level 4, take Crescent Slash.
Level 5 Mark of the Assassin.
And at level 6, of course Shadow Dance.
From there on, level: Shadow Dance > Mark of the Assassin > Crescent Slash > Twilight Shroud.

As a Tanky-Dps Akali, you have more survivability than a normal Akali.
Still, you should let the tank initiate.
When the team fight starts, do your thing.
Dash to the squishiest champion and burst him/her down as fast as possible.
Do not use twilight shroud unless you are dying because you are very hard to take down.
This will make sure that some enemies will focus you, therefore, giving your allies time to damage the enemy.
Make sure not to die and not to use all of your charges to clean-up the enemies who try to run away :)
