I changed from LeagueCraft to Mobafire, since the members on MOBAfire, are much more helpfull, so therefore, i've decided to make 4 Teemo Builds, (AD/AS/Hybrid/AP) since i play this Champion a lot, and learned how to master him. So now, i will teach you how to play Teemo perfectly, with 4 different builds. This is my first teemo build, but i will try to do my best, to write as many helpfull and usefull descriptions as i can. So sit back and enjoy it.

Teemo Basic Informations

Teemo, The Swift Scout
Purchase Cost: 585 RP or 3150 IP
Roles: Assassin, Support, Disabler, Haste, Farmer, Ranged, Recommended, Scout

The Legend of Teemo

As far as yordles are concerned, there is something slightly wrong with Teemo. While he enjoys - and in fact needs - the level of community and companionship inherent to all yordles, Teemo feels it so strongly that he ventures out on his own to destroy the enemies of Bandle City. There is something that switches off in Teemo, so that the lives he ends do not burden him. It seemed only logical to send him to fight in the League of Legends as the champion of Bandle City. He has taken to the League like a duck to water, seeking out the foes of the yordles and extinguishing them with the rare ajunta poison he personally gathers from the jungles of ***ungu. However, the limited company of his own kind wears on Teemo, and cracks are beginning to show in his innocent and chipper.

''Though he is known as the Swift Scout, it is clear that Teemo is actually something else - the unrepentant assassin of Bandle City.''

Playing as Teemo

Teemo's mushrooms can be used to farm creep waves very effectively.
Place your mushrooms at key locations on the map, such as by the Dragon or Baron Nashor, to reveal when your enemies might be attempting to kill them.

Playing vs Teemo

Teemo's Toxic Shot punishes players who get hit and back out, stay at a safe range until you're ready to commit.
If you're a ranged champion with an Oracle's Elixir, you can safely destroy Teemo's mushrooms.

Pros and Cons

Pros

-Really good damage.
-Fantastic Farmer.
-Great Carry.
-Good Pusher.
-Can execute tanks fast.

Cons

-Squishy.
-Range enemies with Oracle can destroy his mushrooms.
-Focussed in team battles.
-Low HP champion.

Champion Abilities

Camouflage. If Teemo stands still and takes no action for 2 seconds, he becomes stealthed. After leaving stealth, Teemo gains the Element of Surprise, increasing his attack speed by 40% for 3 seconds.

I really enjoy playing teemo, with his passive. Especially when im Soloing mid. The thing you should do, is buying boots, rush to the mid, get as close as you can, to the enemy tower, just out of range for it to shoot you. And then, when you're stealted and the enemy solo champion is going mid, you should surprise him, by giving him a stealthed shot. Which will increase your attack speed by 40% for 3 seconds, just enough time to take him down :)

Blinding Dart. Obscures an enemy's vision with a powerful venom, dealing damage to the target unit and causing all attacks to miss for the duration. Deals 80-260 (+0.8 per ability power) magic damage and causes the target to miss all of their attacks for 1.5-3.5 seconds.

I really like Blinding Dart, the target will be unable to hit you, for 2 seconds, how cool is that? combined with Exhaust for even better results. Popping Blinding Dart, and then Exhaust right after, will be you best shot, at those hardcore melee Champions, probaly the best combo against them, thats one of the reasons that i took Exhaust as my Summoner Spell.

Move Quick. Teemo scampers around, increasing his movement speed until he is struck by an enemy champion or turret. Toggle: Teemo's movement speed is increased by 15-35% until he is struck by an enemy champion or turret.

This is a very decent abillity, running faster is always nice. However, this is not your no. 1 streaming priority, but it is nice, to get back to your lane fast, if you wanna purchase new items, or if you die But yet not the most important thing in the world.

Toxic Shot. Each of Teemo's attacks will poison the target, dealing damage each second for 4 seconds. Teemo's basic attacks poison their target, dealing 8-35 (+0.14 per ability power) magical damage upon impact and again each second for 4 seconds.

Toxic Shot is a very nice passive ability. Its dealing posion damage over time, which is really good. If you are about to kill an enemy, and he flee with very low HP, the Toxic shot might take care of the rest ;) and the Damage will increase if your building Ability Power.

Noxious Trap. Teemo places a explosive poisonous trap. If an enemy steps on the trap it will release a poisonous cloud, slowing enemies and damaging them over time. Uses a stored mushroom to place a trap which detonates if an enemy steps on it, spreading poison to nearby enemies which slows movement speed by 30/40/50% and deals 250/475/700 (+1 per ability power) magic damage over 4 seconds. Traps last 10 minutes. Teemo forages for a mushroom every 30/26/22 seconds, but he is only big enough to carry 3 at once.

You gotta love those, always get me kills on the battlefields of justice, while doing nothing ;p What you wanna do with your traps is, try to place as many as you can, all around the map, to reveal your enemies.

Trap Inforemation

Important mid Traps

1. I would always have a trap at Baron Nashor, so that you always know when your enemy team, is going to get the big Team buff, Do not let that happend.

2. Okay, if you are laning mid, i would always have 6 traps, at the 6 dots. They will reveal if your enemies are about to gank you, so i would suggest that you place Traps there, and ofc, if they are going into the bush for recalling, and they walk into your trap, thats a free kill :)

3. I would also have a trap, at each Golems and Lizards, its always nice to gank an enemy champion, while he tries to get a buff, and then pwn him, and steal the buff. Also, if you're about to kill the lizard or golem, and an enemy champion is approaches, you always know when to get away, for that you can simply use your flash, over the wall, And then use Move Quick to get away in a rush.

4. Same principle as Baron Nashor, always know when an enemy champion is trying to kill the dragon, or if some jungler is trying aswell, then just run at their location, and fire a blinding dart in their head.

Core item builds

Attack Damage Core Build

This is the best Attack Damage Build for teemo, that i know off. I've played 300 Games, with teemo in the past, and i agreed with myself, that this build is the best working for teemo, because of all the benefits within it.

Berserker's Greaves.
i picked these because of the extra Attack speed, The boots and the Surprise attack (Teemo's Passive Ability) should provide more than enough attack speed for this Attack Damage build.

Madred's Bloodrazor.
Is a very good item, especially for this attack damage build, but lets start with . The reason that i want this right after is very simple. 's Passive (15% chance on attack to deal 500 damage to a minion.), will make you able to get really fast Golem and lizard buffs, for more damage output or unlimited mana, which means more kills early game for little teemo. And then later upgrade it to for the good passive's within it.

The Bloodthirster.
This item fits perfectly for teemo, in the Attack Damage build, Gives + Attack Damage, lifesteal and the badass passive (Gain an additional 1 Physical Damage and 0.25% Lifesteal per kill. Maximum of +40 Damage and 10% Lifesteal. Although (Bonuses are lost upon death.). (You do not need more lifesteal than this) Always get first while building Since Wont help you without any good Attack Damage.

Frozen Mallet.
The attack damage version of teemo, would be nothing without , he need it so badly, to slow his opponent. I would recommend getting before . has 's Passive which is (Physical attacks reduce your target's Movement Speed for 2.5 seconds.) which is the reason you wanna get it before . The HP on Frozen Mallet, is not bad eiter, since teemo is a low Hp Champion.

The Black Cleaver.
The black cleaver is a massive attack damage item. It gives you a bunch of attack damage, and the best thing about it, is it's passive (Physical attacks reduce your target's Armor by 12 for 5 seconds, (maximum 5 stacks).. This passive, will make you able to get enemy tanks down really fast. and again, i would get first, for more attack damage.

Guardian Angel.
Teemo is a very squishy champion. Therefore, you need for more Armor, and Magic Resist, and of course its passive, which is (Revives your Champion upon death, restoring 750 health and 375 mana, this effect can only occur once every 5 minutes.) So now that you got a bunch of attack damage, and a little lifesteal, HP from And Armor from you should be able, to get some kills, on the Battlefield of Justice.

Attack Speed Core Build

These items is a good combination for an Attack Speed build, with Teemo. This contains a lot Attack Speed, Lifesteal, Great Passive's and good items for survival. I wouldn't change any of these items, if you are trying this build, because they work perfectly together.

Berserker's Greaves.
Since this is an Attack Speed build, i would recommend Berserker's Greaves, for the extra 25 Attack Speed, which is nice at Early Game, thats why, i start out with and x3.

Stark's Fervor.
Before getting Stark's Fervor, you should get for more Attack Speed, Movement Speed And Critical Strike. And then get Stark's Fervor Right after. You should get for good Attack Speed while getting Gold for . The reason that i want Stark's Ferver is because of the Lifesteal, Attack Speed But mainly because of the Passive (Gives nearby allied Champions 20% Lifesteal, 20% Attack Speed, and 30 Health per 5 seconds regenerated. Reduces the Armor of nearby enemy champions by 20.)

Phantom Dancer.
Now that you got you should upgrade it to, Phantom Dancer. Phantom Dancer, is a great Item for Teemo, because of the huge amount of Attack Speed. And for more Movement speed, Critical Strike and Dogde. So i would definitely get this item.

Frozen Mallet.
Frozen Mallet, is just a very good item for Teemo, no matter which version of Teemo you are playing. (Attack Damage version, Attack Speed version And Hybrid version) And again, i took this item, to be able to slow enemy champions. (Physical attacks reduce your target's Movement Speed for 2.5 seconds.) And of course for the Health, since Teemo, is a very squishy champion, as I've probably said before.

Guinsoo's Rageblade.
Guinsoo's Rageblade is a very good Teemo item, It will provide Attack Damage and Ability Power And the passive which is beast for Attack Speed Teemo. (On attack/spellcast, increases your Attack Speed by 4% and Ability Power by 6. Lasts 5 seconds (stacks up to 8 times) Getting those 8 Stacks is really good Attack speed.

Guardian Angel.
The reason that im getting Guardian Angel is exactly the same as the reason in the Attack Damage Build. Which was : Teemo is a very squishy champion.

Hybrid Core Build

I usually play Hybrid, when im playing Teemo, and these items, really kick *** with Teemo, Hybrid build. All of his ability deals a huge amount of damage, and he has a lot Attack speed and Attack Damage, thats why i think Hybrid, is the best thing to build, as Teemo.

Boots of Swiftness.
I choose Boots of Swiftness because, i need Movement Speed as Teemo, and since there isn't any other items, to increase my Movement speed, i picked these. The reason that i didn't take is because i got more than enough Attack Speed in , And 's Passive (On attack/spellcast, increases your Attack Speed by 4% and Ability Power by 6. Lasts 5 seconds (stacks up to 8 times). You could also get , if theres many Rooting/Stunning/Snaring Mages on the Enemy team.

Hextech Gunblade.
This is one of the best items you can get, as Teemo in the Hybrid version. Gives you Attack Damage, Ability Power, Lifesteal, Spellvamp and the Great UNIQUE (Active: Deals 300 magic damage and slows the target champion by 50% for 3 seconds (700 range). 60 second cooldown.) So, this item will pretty much kick butts as Teemo.

Guinsoo's Rageblade.
Guinsoo's Rageblade is a perfect item for a Hyrbrid Build, it provides everything you could ever ask for, Attack Damage, Ability Power and of course the Passive (On attack/spellcast, increases your Attack Speed by 4% and Ability Power by 6. Lasts 5 seconds (stacks up to 8 times). Those 8 Stacks would really boost your Ability Power and Attack Speed.

Malady.
This item has almost just been changed from giving 15 Lifesteal and 50 Attack Power, to 25 Ability power and 50 Attack Speed, and that works really well, in this build. Gives you just the things you need in a Hybrid build, + its Passive is beastly (your physical attacks shred your target dealing 20 magic damage and lowering their magic resistance by 6. Magic resistance reduction stacks up to 4 times.)

Nashor's Tooth.
Now its time for Nashor's Tooth, which will give you a bunch of Attack Speed and Ability Power and because of its good passive (Reduces ability cooldowns by 25%) on your abilities. That's why i choose as my fifth item. I will be able to almost spam Blinding Dart, with this great item.

Frozen Mallet.
Frozen Mallet is the last item in this Core Build. i choose this item, because i need something to slow the opponents, and for that 's Passive ( Physical attacks reduce your target's Movement Speed for 2.5 seconds.) would do the trick. i would get first, while building . As i said, a few times Teemo is a very squishy champion. So those 700 Health, will really help him out.

Ability Power Core Build

I don't play ability power Teemo, very often. But the thing i like, when i do play Ability Teemo, is his Traps, they deal Incredibel damage. So you are almost guaranteed a kill, if you know when, and where to place them. Thats what i love about Ability Power. So i tryed to make the best Ability Power Build, that i could. Which looks like this.

Mercury's Treads.
I recommend Mercury's Treads, because they'll give you Magic Resist, 2 Movement Speed and of course the reason that i took them, The passive ( Enhanced Movement 2 Reduces the duration of Movement inhibiting effects by 35%.). The reason that i didn't take , is because of and will give you enough Movement Speed.

Rod of Ages.
Rod of Ages, is a decent item for Teemo, it's giving you Health, Mana, Ability Power and a great Passive (Your Champion gains 18 Health, 20 Mana, and 2 Ability Power every 1 min. Bonuses cap at +180 Health, +200 Mana, and +20 Ability Power.). I would recommend getting because of the passive (Restores 300 Health and 250 Mana upon leveling up.) this passive is really good during the laneing phase.

Archangel's Staff.
Archangel's Staff is just an all around great item. It gives Mana, Mana Regen, Ability Power and of course the Passive as always (3% of your Max Mana is converted to Ability Power. UNIQUE Passive: Each time your Champion uses an Ability their Maximum Mana will increase by 4 Mana. This effect has a 3 second cooldown.) that means, that it basicly takes a bite of your mana, and converting it to Ability Power.

Lich Bane.
Lich Bane is a great item, it's giving Mana, a lot Ability Power, Magic Resist, Movement speed and of course the passive (100% chance when an ability is used that your next physical attack deals an additional 100% of your Ability Power in damage. This effect has a 2 second cooldown.) This is basicly all, what Teemo needs as Ability Teemo.

Zhonya's Ring.
This is probaly the best Ability Power item in the whole game, its giving a massive amount Ability Power, But that is apparently not enough, so they also added 2 really good passives (Increases Ability Power by 25%. and the UNIQUE Activate (Activate:Places you in stasis for 2 seconds, making you invulnerable and non-targetable. So this item is unreplaceable.

Guardian Angel.
As im getting a little tired, of writing descriptions for each Item in the Core build, and as i wrote above : Teemo is a very squishy champion. Therefore, you need for more Armor, and Magic Resist, and of course its passive, which is (Revives your Champion upon death, restoring 750 health and 375 mana, this effect can only occur once every 5 minutes.) So this item will help little squishy Teemo a lot.

Masteries

Tips for beginners

If you're just starting the game or if you're just a low level, there are a few talents you should begin with. All of them are in the Utility tree. 3/3 Good Hands reduces the time you spend dead by 10%. Awareness, which you obtain on the second tier in the Utility tree, increases your exp gain by 5%. As a new/low level player this can help you gain levels quicker. You are allowed to respec during the load-screen by minimizing your screen and going to your PVP net client.

Mastery Trees

Here's the stat boosts that you get if you spec into all of the stat boosts in each of the different trees.

Critical Strike Chance: +2%
Ability Power per Level: +0.60

So, thats the reason i took the different masteries, for differen't builds. And getting the right masteries for my Summoner spells and stuff.

Runes

Basic

The Summoner can equip Runes to increase their champion's capabilities. There are 4 types of Runes: "Marks (offensive Runes), Seals (defensive Runes), Glyphs (magical ability Runes), and Quintessence (powerful all-purpose Runes). Also, there are 3 tiers of Runes; the higher the tier, the more powerful the Rune's effect. Summoners are able to use a rune per level of power in League of Legends. Before a match begins, a Summoner will be able to choose from three different rune configurations they have previously set in their Runes. You can also combine 5 runes from one tier to obtain a higher level tier Runes.

Attack Damage

Greater Mark of Desolation +1.67 Armor Penetration.
Every Attack Damage champion needs Armor Penetration, including Teemo, so i got Greater Mark of Desolation x9. 's passive (Physical attacks reduce your target's Armor by 12 for 5 seconds, (maximum 5 stacks). And x9 should be enough to get high armor targets down. 15.03 Armor Penetration with 9 Greater Mark of Desolation.

Greater Seal of Focus -0.29% Cooldowns.
I would take Greater Seal of Focus, for the for the sake of Blinding Dart. So you can use it more often. But, you can also change it to something else, since blinding dart, is Teemo's only Ability that requires Cooldown. 2.61 Cooldown Reduction with 9 Greater Seal of Focus.

Greater Glyph of Strength +0.27 Attack Damage.
Well, since this is a Attack Damage build, you can use all the Attack Damage you can get, and its also really nice having that extra attack damage early game, to get your opponents down really fast, if you're fighting 1v1 or 2v2, before the minions is coming. 2.43 Attack Damage with 9 Greater Glyph of Strength.

Greater Quintessence of Fortitude +32.4 Health.
Teemo is a squishy champion, therefore he needs all the Health he can get, without ruin the Build, so thats the main Reason i took Greater Quintessence of Fortitude. You can of course change them, if you don't like it. 97.2 Health with 9 Greater Quintessence of Fortitude.

Attack Speed

Greater Mark of Desolation +1.67 Armor Penetration.
Again, Teemo is a champion who needs Armor Penetration, to survive against Tanks or High Armor champions, thats why i would get some Armor penetration. If you're following my Item build, there's nothing that gives Armor Penetration, but i guess this is better than nothing. 15.03 Armor Penetration with 9 Greater Mark of Desolation.

Greater Seal of Alacrity +0.76% Attack Speed.
Surely it is axiomatic that an Attack Speed Teemo, needs all the Attack Speed he can get, so thats why i choose Greater Seal of Alacrity. And they are also nice having by your side Early Game. 6.84 Attack Speed with 9 Greater Seal of Alacrity

Greater Gylph of Focus +0.65% Cooldowns.
As i said above : I would take Greater Seal of Focus, for the for the sake of Blinding Dart. So you can use it more often. But, you can also change it to something else, since blinding dart, is Teemo's only Ability that requires Cooldown. 5.85 Cooldown Reduction with 9 Greater Gylph of Focus.

Greater Quintessence of Fortitude +32.4 Health.
You also need Health as the Attack Speed version of Teemo, i know, it might have come as a shock, so thats the reason that im taking Greater Quintessence of Fortitude. You can of course change them, if you don't like it. 97.2 Health with 9 Greater Quintessence of Fortitude.

Hybrid

Greater Mark of Strength +0.96 Attack Damage.
The Teemo, way of Hybrid focussing on Attack Speed, Attack Damage and Ability Power. That's the reason that i took, Greater Mark of Strength, and they are also very good having by your side in low level. 8.64 Attack Damage with 9 Greater Mark of Strength.

Greater Seal of Alacrity +0.76% Attack Speed.
Greater Seal of Alacrity is for the Attack Speed, which is really important in a Hybrid build. This is the same principle as before, you can never have enough Attack Speed, so thats the reason that i took Greater Seal of Alacrity. 6.84 Attack Speed with 9 Greater Seal of Alacrity. 8.91 Ability Power with 9 Greater Seal of Alacrity.

Greater Glyph of Potency +0.99 Ability Power.
You need Ability Power, to increase your damage on Blinding Dart, Toxic Shot and Noxious Trap. So, you kinda need a lot Ability Power. But, you already got that in your gear, so this is just a little bonus.

Greater Quintessence of Fortitude +32.4 Health.
Also, the Hybrid version of Teemo, needs Health, As I probably are getting firmly established. Thats why you need Greater Quintessence of Fortitude. But then again. You can of course change them, if you don't like it. 97.2 Health with 9 Greater Quintessence of Fortitude.

Ability Power

Greater Mark of Insight +0.95 Magic Penetration.
There's nothing more annoying than someone with, a lot of Magic Resist, That's why i took Greater Mark of Insight. These gems, will make you able to Damage through their Magic Resist, so you kinda need this as Ability Teemo. 8.55 Magic Penetration with 9 Greater Mark of Insight.

Greater Seal of Potency +0.56 Ability Power.
In the Abiltiy Power version of Teemo, he needs as much Ability Power, as he can get. And these will definitely help him out, not to mention Early game, Greater Seal of Potency is a big boost for him early game. 2.95 Ability Power with 5 Greater Seal of Potency.

Greater Seal of Force +0.1 Ability Power per level (1.8 at lvl 18).
These are basicly the same as above, but, Greater Seal of Force will give you Ability Power Per level, instead of Pure Ability Power. And as i said, Teemo needs as much Ability Power as he can get. 0.4 Ability Power per level (7.2 at 18) with 4 Greater Seal of Force.

Greater Glyph of Potency +0.99 Ability Power.
As i said several times, Teemo needs Ability Power, and since Greater Glyph of Potency is the Runes, that provides most Ability Power, i choose them as Glyph. All this Ability Power, will be a big help for him, Early Game. 8.91 Ability Power with 9 Greater Glyph of Potency.

Greater Quintessence of Fortitude +32.4 Health.
Health Quintessence all the way. Teemo really need em'. Look above fore the reason why i picked these, since I have explained why, like a thousand times. Thats why i picked Greater Quintessence. You can of course change them, if you don't like it. 97.2 Health with 9 Greater Quintessence of Fortitude.

Playstyle

Early Game Level 1-6
Teemo is very squishy, so you should try to play defensive, the first 4-6 levels, but of course, get a kill if there's a chance for it. You should try to farm, minions as much as you can. Cause when your or the enemy team, starts pushing, you won't get the chance again. Blinding Dart is very usefull Early Game, if you're playing against Non Ability Champions, like Tryndamere. I would recommend taking mid, as Teemo. He can really do a great Damage Output, and use for the most advantages for you. But he also works great at side lanes. Just try to play defensive, and blow a Blinding dart, whenever the chance breaks out. At level 6 you'll get , which is really good for Teemo, especially with an Ability Power Build.

Mid Game Level 6-12
You should probaly, have 1 or 2 items from the builds by now. (Attack Damage - I would try to use, Madred's Bloodrazor to get Lizard and Golem Buffs ) (Attack Speed - Use Stark's Fervor in team battles, Into benefits for your team. ) (Hybrid - Just destroy your enemies with Hextech Gunblade. The best Hybrid item) And Ability Power - Try to get those great stats within this wonderfull Rod of Ages). Use them to its advantage. In level 11 you will get, Rank 2, try to place them at the locations, that i pointed out above in "Trap Information." And try to get as many kills as you can.

Late Game Level 12-18
Iam aware that you might won't get all the Items, since they are expensive. But try to get as many as you can, and try to push the lanes. And again, place as many 's as you can. If you got feeded during the Game, your enemies will probaly focus on you, in Team Battles, so be aware of that. you should try to get, Lizard buff, Golem buff and Baron's buff at once, for more Damage, Health and Mana Regen. And remember, its not always worth dieing for a kill, so think twice when turrets are involved. End the game, with a whole new Teemo, playstyle.
