Hello, this is my first ever guide. So in this guide I put down what I think is best for Teemo (in my opinion, you may have others). I have used other builds but they don't really meet standards for me, because they make teemo more tanky / support. basically that is a bunch of lies because Teemo isn't support as he is a squishy champion and building him with lots of resit and stuff will just make him survive an extra attack or two. So in this guide I am basically making Teemo not a support champion and turning him into a 'your not getting away from me' type of champion.
Ok so for my runes, like I said in the intro this is NOT a support / tank Teemo guide. So I made the runes basically AP and a little bit of magic pent. You don't go AD as Teemo since his abilities run off AP so stacking AD would basically do nothing. The little bit of magic pent is nice to have because people sometimes like to get a bit of magic resit so reducing it by a bit helps.
Remember, this is boom boom Teemo..not be a support Teemo. The AP within the masteries helps with abilities and in the 'Utility' tab the little movement speed increase is helpful for a higher chance of get aways.
Ok so I decide to rank up toxic dart first and not blinding dart, why? Because toxic dart is a passive that is always active,costs no mana and has 0 cool down, also does pretty close to blinding dart damage and gives off a nice damage over time. Blinding dart does give off that 100% chance of a attack missing you for a good second but it also has a 7 second cooldown and 70 mana per use. So you eather pick to stack mana drainer or no mana drainer (pretty easy choice on what your wanting to rank up first)
Ok so the items are basically trying to max out Teemo's damage as early as possible AND get attack speed cap. Attack speed cap is a must to the guide because without it teemos damage is weak and makes it impossible to kill people. And about 1/2 of the items I got come with a passive extra bit of damage. What I mean is that after each basic attack those items will produce a little bit of damage like a damage tick of 50 per item so an extra 150 per basic attack aint bad, right? The other 3 items try and maximize the attack speed cap which is 2.5 (2 attacks per second, 5 attacks per 2 seconds) which is extremely deadly when used with that extra 150 on basic attacks plus teemo's toxic dart DoT (Damage over time) makes it that much more scary.
One of the musts is Ignite because mixing that in with your burst with all the items is basically instant gg and the person drops dead. The other spell you could use Exhaust, Flash or Heal depending on play style and just level on how good you are with the game, nothing else to say.
Pros / Cons
- Can do extreme amount of damage in seconds if used proper.
- Depending on what other summoner spell is, can be a good get away artist
- Teemo's passive can be used very easy to avoid being team killed.
- Use mushrooms (Teemo's R or Ult) in bushes or jungle to see if incoming ganks are coming yours or your team mates way.
- Using blinding dart to help team mates take down champions
- If a OP or snowball melee champion with a charge or hop like Xin zhao or Jax decides to jump you, your basically dead.
- It is possible to avoid mushrooms
- Jax is your worst nightmare, period.
Creeping / Jungling
Ok Teemo isn't a jungler but he is a good setup for ganks and good for preventing ganks by using something called your Ult which are mushrooms you can put anywhere. Put em in the jungle and you'll prevent ganks. For setting up ganks or cornering a guy, just use your passive and go invisible behind the enemy, so while he is trying to get away you pop out and kill him.
