So teemo is my newest addiction....

As far as yordles are concerned, there is something slightly wrong with Teemo. While he enjoys - and in fact needs - the level of community and companionship inherent to all yordles, Teemo feels it so strongly that he ventures out on his own to destroy the enemies of Bandle City. There is something that switches off in Teemo, so that the lives he ends do not burden him. It seemed only logical to send him to fight in the League of Legends as the champion of Bandle City. He has taken to the League like a duck to water, seeking out the foes of the yordles and extinguishing them with the rare ajunta poison he personally gathers from the jungles of ***ungu. However, the limited company of his own kind wears on Teemo, and cracks are beginning to show in his innocent and chipper fade.

''Though he is known as the Swift Scout, it is clear that Teemo is actually something else - the unrepentant assassin of Bandle City.''

I checked a few builds online and got the hang of where others were coming from and adjusted for my play style... any comments are welcome and I would love any advice on improving my build if you got beef with mine... well tell me why... cause truth be told i think this build rocks so hard I posted it... oh and things are rough i buy armor... as needed and the right one for my situation.. but usually i find the best defense with squishies is hard core offense...

playing teemo

Like all champions on the field you must remember this is a game of attrition. but especially when playing squishies... teemo hits and runs drops a shroom in your path leads you on a chase through pre-planned minefields of shrooms... you think you are pownin him as he flee's and then you are at spawn shaking your head and saying DAMN THOSE MUSHROOMS! **** YOU TEEMO! I know I have heard it all... I feel your frustration and it makes me stronger and brings laughter to my map.... once you establish your presence though remember they WILL focus on you. Because you got their attention and because you are squishy. so play smart. run if needed. never be so proud you refuse to withdraw.

playing against teemo

Teemo is a delicate little yordle for all of his brutal pownage. He is just as susceptible to a good gank or pounce as the next champ.. just a little more slippery and a lot more squishy. Hit him hard and often to force him out of range. utilize a champ in lane against him with good range or damage or both. buy a consumable to see invisible units. dont let his shrooms and disappearances catch you by surprise. avoid popular mushroom spots to run through. (grass or side of lanes) follow minions in right down the middle and stay slightly behind them. DO NOT CHASE TEEMO INTO JUNGLE. unless you are not alone or have full health or both... or he will scout your corpse for yordle snacks....

champion abilities.

Champion Abilities

Camouflage. If Teemo stands still and takes no action for 2 seconds, he becomes stealthed. After leaving stealth, Teemo gains the Element of Surprise, increasing his attack speed by 40% for 3 seconds.

Now this stealth is so obviously wonderful that you may miss out on some of his nicer subtleties at first... yeah you can pop in an out and get a fantastic as buff but just as nice is the fact that doing so causes your opponent (or opponents if you get good enough) to continually waste their money on items just to see you or your shrooms..... The only danger here is when they start pretending not to see you and trying to surprise gank you... but honestly by the time they figure this out it's prob. too late for them as you are a slaying machine... but I am getting wordy... just try him... its fun!

Blinding Dart. Obscures an enemy's vision with a powerful venom, dealing damage to the target unit and causing all attacks to miss for the duration. Deals 80-260 (+0.8 per ability power) magic damage and causes the target to miss all of their attacks for 1.5-3.5 seconds.

This is your primary attack the dart makes them miss you (or teammates or the baron etc) for a short duration and that is just pure pownage.. they are ripe for slaying by you or just as likely a teammate. This doesnt mean you wont take damage... you may, abilities etc still work so dont think you can go in mostly dead pop a dart and win (though sometimes you can, you will know when) plus it does damage sweet.

Move Quick. Teemo scampers around, increasing his movement speed until he is struck by an enemy champion or turret. Toggle: Teemo's movement speed is increased by 15-35% until he is struck by an enemy champion or turret.

Running faster means getting away... bumping your kill's up by gettin' 'em as they flee... and being in lane to get experience that much faster. this is so useful I could go on for awhile about it. but it is not the priority. killing the other team and being a major factor in their surrender.. that is the priority.

Toxic Shot. Each of Teemo's attacks will poison the target, dealing damage each second for 4 seconds. Teemo's basic attacks poison their target, dealing 8-35 (+0.14 per ability power) magical damage upon impact and again each second for 4 seconds.

This one is great! A nice big surprise for the enemy champ who stays in lane a little too long and finds himself fleeing only to die as he reaches safety... plus this is yet another reason for enemy champs to be afraid... as if teemo needed any more...

Noxious Trap. Teemo places a explosive poisonous trap. If an enemy steps on the trap it will release a poisonous cloud, slowing enemies and damaging them over time. Uses a stored mushroom to place a trap which detonates if an enemy steps on it, spreading poison to nearby enemies which slows movement speed by 30/40/50% and deals 250/475/700 (+1 per ability power) magic damage over 4 seconds. Traps last 10 minutes. Teemo forages for a mushroom every 30/26/22 seconds, but he is only big enough to carry 3 at once.

So this is the big one. Not only is it an ultimate, and appropriately powered but it is one of teemos finest scouting tools. You can put mushies everywhere! in bushes to reveal or damage attackers or lurkers... in lane to farm minions... on pathways to farm champs or turn the tide of battle... in places no one will likely walk to see the map and gain information on enemy movements... guarding buffs or turrets.... your imagination is your only limit!

Summoner Spells

I go with flash and exhaust but there is valid argument for whatever choice your play style recommended's...

as of 03/07 I have to say I havn't used exhaust for teemo in a long time I have way better utility out of the teleport spell in both 3v3 and 5v5 because of mushrooms i have short cuts all over the map 3v3. I place them where they wont be hit for shortcuts.

Summoner spells

Well flash and teleport for 5v5 matches... happens more often than flash exhaust to be real...

on items...

i do change slightly what i buy i may go for lichbane or deathgrasp sometimes i choose a new item just to see how it fits my build and play style but for the most part this build is written in stone for me. it works. well.

on masteries...

i play with these often to play other champs as i am sure you do. i accidentally started going 9/21/0 today and found i dint miss the utility at all and maybe even found the defense better... the jury is still out on this one...

A typical game

I buy first piece of stinger (then boots or just focus on stinger it depends on how things are going). then i tp to mid turret and go just b4 mid point between my tower and theirs, then a lil off to the side... i wait an go invis.. scout style. then depending on which champ shows i either attack them directly giving them a few darts followed by my q, a few more darts and then i retreat to my turret. and now begins the game of attrition. spam q. be aggressive but have a retreat at all times. know when to push and when to not kill minions. It all depends on your situation... lets say you are facing lux and she has all her runes and her summoner knows how to use her... well play def. pulse her stuns and give her the occasional q but for the most part stay back and DO not shoot minions until they are almost dead. this will allow lux to push you to your tower. good this is what we want in this circumstance.get your turret to lvl you up with some nice safe kill exp. play it safe for a second while you pursue your build and then when you have stinger and boots of mag pen. (or merc treads depending on experience) you should be able to get more aggressive but remember she has that brutal ult. so don't get too low on life trying for the kill it will come i promise. now lets say you are facing a newb who has no understanding of game mechanics yet. well have fun and get as aggressive as you want but watch for the switch or gank (it's coming) do NOT get cocky or you will get dead. now as soon as you get lvl 6 start spammin those shrooms as fast as poss. get the bushes to both sides of your lane. get about an inch b4 the bush get the 4 corners in lane where the walls are. get the enemies paths they think are safe if you have time. if you get a good lull after killing your opponent go bot or top and give em some shroom wards ( you can tp back mid if your opponant returns). they may not thank you but you will be helping secure the win. On that note let me say here there is only the win. stat *****s may argue, but for this summoner give me the win and i will put my pride there instead of the kill count. (sick of hearing so many whines of so an so ks'd me whah whah whah... i mean it does happen often its a team game and we all want to kill the bad guys but rarely is it really some plot to steal your kills in my opinion). now we are at mid game and stackin buffs ( at lvl 11 you can prob. solo dragon and get you and your team some gold), and kills placing shrroms strategically all over the map. in lanes in bushes warding buffs, baron, and dragon. in the pathways between your opponents lanes where they have to go to help each other. make them curse teemo's name.

Summary

Teemo is FUN FUN FUN if they dont buy items to see invisible things it is pure pownage but even when they do that is cash you drained to make them find you or your shrooms... beware the shroom hunter and set a counter shroom trap... place them to monitor each other and you, and your ping if needed, jump that fool for attackin yer shroom's! your blind (Q) can turn the tide go invis. and hide behind a shroom hit em with q if they are way stronger than your team right away wait if they are handled and be prepared for a rescue attempt from their teammate that q is a powerfull escape tool as well as offensive jab... timed right it destroys the toughest most fed champ if your teammates back you... if not hit em and w out but beware the snare (get merc treads if snares become a problem) late game my teemo becomes a one man slayer but if things are still iffy or i just have too much cash.. I sell my boots and invest in whatever item i feel will turn the tide... thats about all the knowledge i have about teemo... except this spam mushrooms. everywhere. in lane, in bush, hidden around corners, guarding the baron and dragon, at the base of towers and in lane to add to cash and kill minion waves... be there for your teammates... gank... protect... ward.... you are the coolest scout in gaming history after all.....
