Fury of the Dragonborn (PASSIVE)
Shyvana Passive Ability
Introduction
FYI: I USE THIS BUILD FOR SOLOing TOP
I msin Shyvana in ranked 5v5 and use this build EVERY TIME. She is made to be a tanky DPS, and thats how i build her. With this build you will be dealing decent damage and absorbing all the focus for your team.
When built like this, you wont be focused because that beefy health bar you have makes the other team think youre just tanking, but you will be laying out lots of hurt at a fast rate while slowing their whole team while your AD carrys and Casters put on the NOISE. Dont knock it till you try it. The order in which you purchase items can be altered based on your preference but for how I play Shyvana, all these are essential. Enjoy! Thanks for stopping by
Runes can be set based on your playing style (if you play more passive maybe think about some Armor runes so you can take the damage)
I Go for Flat AD quints and marks (mostly for early game) after you start stacking items it doesnt make much of a difference.
Attack Speed Seals and Glyphs (Shyvanas main DMG come from her Twin Bite which drops .5 sec cooldown with every hit) so making this spammable allows you to put on the hurt.

Short and Simple
Exhaust
-helps with slow the runners (paired with your burnout they arent getting away)
-if they choose to 1v1 you, their AD drops 70% while you pummel them into ashes
Ignite
-just in case you have a sliver of life left and you want to secure the kill
-most people have Lifesteal of their own, so sometimes i pop this early do reduce the amount of life stealing they re actually doing.

Heres a brief explanation of what I choose and why it is that I choose it.
Start off with Dorans Blade
-Good amount of starting damage
-Lifesteal for sustain in your lane
First trip back Ninja Tabi Boots
-Movement 2
-25 armor this early helps you absorb good amount of dmg
-10% reduction of dmg from basic attacks
Usually by this point you have 2-3 Kills (depending on how often you jungler is ganking)
By this time, who ever youre laning against knows he cant take you one on one so he will be running back.
Grab Phage
-18 atk dmg
-225 health
-25% CHANCE OF SLOW on hit (this is HUGE) when they run away, which they will, you crack the slow on then and paired with your Burnout speed boost, youll manage to get in 1 or 2 extra Twin Bites.
I buy my Vampiric Scepter next for the Life Steal and since im rushing my Bloodthirster next
Usually, when i go back to finish ill be short a few $$ so at this point i sell my dorans blade to buy my BF and finish the Thirster.
At this stage you have 25Armor, 225 Bonus Health, 25% Lifesteal + 118 atk dmg (if your BT stacks are maxed), and a chance of slow. Its time to Bulk up a bit more. I finish my Frozen Mallet for the extra life and to free up some items slots.
Now its up to you how you finish the build. I like do engage fights for my team so i buy another giants belt before zeal. but if you feel the need for atk spd, then go zeal first and then grab the giants belt to finish Warmogs.
Finish your Phatom Dancer for more Crit chance.
and FINALLY
The cherry on top...
Randuins Omen
-75 Armor
-350 Health
-5% Cooldown reduction (always helps)
-25 health regen
-20% chance to slow
- the sweetest active for my girl SHYV.
You know when you are about to get into that team fight but its just poke here and a poke there before someone really initiates???? well i hate that. My squence is as follows
Hit your burnout and then Ulti into the dragon right in the middle of the enemy team activating the Randuins which will slow movement and attack speed by 35% for 2.5 seoond (2 standard +.5 for the extra 100 armor you have) amd have your team follow and put on the hurt.
This helps A.) keeping all of them in one place because they are slowed and chances are your Frozen mallet will add another slow during team fight B.) gives your team a HUGE edge in the team fight when all of them have 35% of their attack speed.
They WILL underestimate your damage output and will not focus you. Ive gotten multiple Triple kills like this. And the way i see it, even if they DO smarten up and focus you... Their slowed, you have 4000+ HP and 100 Armor to get through, OH YEA and the Lifesteal youre pulling with your Phantom Dancer and Bloodthirster combo... Your team will have picked off 2-3 of them before you even die. Its a win/win.
