1. Introduction.
This is my first guide on Mobafire, only made to help new players wanting to go AP.
This is a global guide for the champions who is mostly used to "one combo" squishy champions.
I prefer starting with Boots and 3 health pots heading mid. Depending on the champion you are playing, your core items should be: Tear of Goddess, Catalyst the Protector and Rabadons Deathcap.
The Tear of Goddess is for champions struggling with mana or spamming his spells badly, while Catalyst the Protector is a half tanky item for staying in lane.
The Tear of Goddess is gonna be built into Archangel's Staff.
The Catalyst the Protector is gonna be built into Rod of Ages
While we, of course, have our Rabadons Deathcap for insane damage output.

The point of the build is being capable of one comboing the enemy squishy champions.
As for Tear of Goddess and Catalyst the Protector, you can drop 1 of them or even both if your raping dem n00bs and crushing everything, then you can grab a Rylais Crystal Scepter after your Rabadons Deathcap for the more crushing power (slow, dmg extra health)
The point of my corebuild with only a few items in it, is because thoose are your CORE, from the point Rylais, Archangel's Staff (stacking), Banshee's Veil and Frozen Heart recommended.
During lanephase (middle) you should focus lasthitting creeps and maybe go for a early kill if your enemy is weaker than you or overextending (cooperate with team - jungler to get dat enemy down)

Pros:
1. Your gonna be able to one combo the enemy AD or AP carry during teamfights if played right.
2. Strong 1v1 hero if played right (IT IS HARDER THAN PLAYING XIN ZHAO GOING EQWR AND WIN EVERY FIGHT)
3. Unkillable and not focusable if having well positioning during team fights.
Cons:
1. Not a sustained damage hero.
2. Team will try to focus you when they realise your damage output
3. Not strong pusher champions

I run standard 9/0/21 with Flash/Ignite.
9x Magic Pen Reds
9x Mana Reg/Lvl Yellows
9x AP/Lvl Blues
3x Flat AP Quints
And for the Skill Sequence, please do whatever you like! For most of thoose champions, its preference who matters! I won't tell you how to play your champions, I only want to give you a little push in the back on the way to becoming the best AP carry player!

I hope that this guide is gonna help new players on how to effectively one combo people with AP champions.
