Shaco mid as I have found deals a surprising amount of damage early and late game. It can be great against other mellee mids and if played right, a heavy shut down to some ranged mids. If you can play it safe and relaxed you will do fine. (EDIT FOR PRESEASON 2017!) This still works fairly well. Your E now does a bit less damage but the DOT is really powerful for quick trades and escapes. You just became better as assassinating your enemy.

In lane, use your passive to farm minions easily. 20% damage at early game should be another 10-15 points of damage to help farming. Use your E to poke and harass. Your Q is to go for kills or bursts to keep them low and in threat of death. A laner in base cant farm or get exp so focus on not over extending. In the games I played I got camped hard by the enemy jungler.
Keep highly mobile and walk from minion to minion and be ready to dodge incoming attacks from the enemy. If you get ganked Q past the enemy jungler and go back down the road they took. Most times they will think you ran to your tower and you end up safe in your jungle.

This ****ty build is doing surprisingly well in a gold/silver ranked elo. You start corruption potion to keep mana and hp up and deal even more damage with your E. You get dirk and boots and that should be able for you to farm easy and keep your enemy laner in check assuming they didnt get fed. Draktharr lets you kill hard on most anything and once IE is up you should be 1 shotting people. The rest falls in to supliment your damage being that of a mixed kit. You hit hard AD crits early so they get armor to counter you. Then you get the AP and the burst stays strong. You will Q+E+Gunblade kill pretty much any adc/mid you face. Gunblade can and will keep you alive with its free healing.

You are an assassin. Get behind enemy lines and take out their mid/adc first then run. Make sure you have a box set up before you flank in for an escape route. Then once they have to break the chase to fight your allies, rinse and repeat until all thier squishy targets are dead. Dont extend yourself, keep running and bursting. You are not meant to be focused too hard to make sure you can get the kill then die or escape. All in all, you are an *******. Come in out of no where, kill the damage then run for it. If you live, kill another and play just like that.

You dont have to follow this point for point my friend. Feel free to change and edit this to fit your specific play style. I play against the meta which is why my ideas might seem very odd. But this is how I play personaly. You dont have to like it but it works for me.
